I bought a domain that forwards *@example.com to my personal email address. Easy to set up on google domains.

This ensures everything before the @ is opaque, i.e. foo+bar@gmail.com is now bar@foo.com

Services that block my domain are usually the ones that also block foo+bar@gmail.com

Love rebasing, love merging, squash or no squash, it all depends on what I'm trying to communicate with my pushes.

Just discovered the --rebase-merges option, worth exploring if you want to edit a commit under a merge commit, but don't want to mess up the merge commits.

Google Meet was a big problem for me until I cleaned out the dust.

These things usually fix performance issues for me:

- Open your macbook and clean out the dust. I do it yearly. It always helps.

- Keep macOS and apps (e.g. browser) up-to-date. coreaudiod high cpu was fixed for me in 11.6.

- Review login items, delete what you don't need.

- Reboot, with the occasional nvram, pram reset

- Review activity monitor, find apps that have background processes and delete the ones you don't need.

- Review installed applications, especially ones w/ kernel extensions (e.g. hamachi, vbox). Delete if you don't need them. Easy to re-install.

- Kill docker desktop when not using docker.

- Fine tune spotlight settings.

Looking at the videos, it seems to be some kind of carbon nanotube sensor that checks the resistance of the water its dipped in. This is hooked up to an arduino and the data is pushed to a smartphone via bluetooth.

Not sure how she made the carbon nanotube detector, but I think people figured out a way to do it with a microwave oven? Seems dangerous, but very cool.

You can get to the level select screen in Sonic 3 using a similar process.

1. Open Sonic 2 and enter the level select cheat

2. Freeze the game by wiggling the cartridge

3. Replace the cartridge with Sonic 3, and hit the reset button
