Why coast when you can push? Yes, its a risk, but a lot of the time risk pays off. And, worst case scenario? You come out with more knowledge of yourself and your skillset, and a lot of businesses look at that fairly favorably.

Unless you're in Silicon Valley, age shouldn't be a factor. The only thing holding you back is yourself.

Nutonian, Inc. (http://www.nutonian.com) - Cambridge, MA (Local Only)

Web Developer: http://www.nutonian.com/company/careers/web-dev/

Lets just get this straight, we are modern browser zealots. That's why we only support IE8+ (and yes, we actually mean that). No more clearfixes and negative margins here! Nutonian is looking for talented web developers help build our cutting edge application using modern iterations of front end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, without modernizr!). Our application is changing how people interact with and understand their data, and we need brilliant developers to help us realize this vision. We use the following technology stack: PureCSS, Snap.svg, backbone, handlebars, gruntjs, nodejs, casperjs and phantom.

Front End Developer: http://www.nutonian.com/company/careers/front-end-dev/

We are looking for engineers to architect and build the core application logic of our flagship application which allows our customers interact with their data in ways they can only dream of today. We strive daily to create beautiful code using modern software development methods, and you should too. We are a group of intelligent and motivated people at an early stage company pushing people's understanding of what an application delivered via a web browser can be. Our current technology stack includes jquery, backbone, underscore, handlebars, nodejs, gruntjs, casper, phantomjs, C/C++, and a smattering of QT.

Feel free to send along resume's and questions to nick@nutonian.com

Even if it isnt a part of the normal build, a separate one that does that would help immensely. AMD makes this ridiculously easy, and grunt etc will help him even further.

It is, and Snap made it infinitesimally moreso. Ive been using it in conjunction with Backbone, and find it extremely versatile, and with a good Layout Manager extension, you dont run into zombie objects laying around.

So glad that Adobe made this open source.

Boston/Cambridge, MA - Nutonian Inc. (INTERN POSITIONS OPEN, and H1B available)

http://www.nutonian.com/company/careers/

Thats the list of currently available positions, but in particular, we really, REALLY need another Front End Dev. Being that I am the only one, I need someone to work with me! You would have a ton of input in terms of the look and feel of the application, and how we architect it.

Currently, we are using Backbone, Pure CSS, Handlebars, Grunt, and Casper and Phantom for CI.

A little background on the company: Nutonian is changing the way people interact with their data to understand the hidden mathematical relationships there. Backed by Atlas Ventures we are very well funded (Series A was announced last Wed, a $4m deal) and in a unique position to capitalize on the convergence of trends in big data and machine learning.

Our core technology, built upon years of academic research at Cornell University, automatically finds all the interesting relationships in data sets. Our current products have been used by over 30,000 people, a testament to its power and commercial reach. Our team is still small - everyone has a large impact, knows the CEO personally, and will create and own the core technology components that make up our company's product. Like other high performance teams, while we work hard, we also play hard with regular company meals, dinners, and social outings.

Contact me if you want to know more about the positions, nick@nutonian.com

Thanks!

Wow, looking through your citation, almost all of the reports are because the user had a lung condition prior, or an allergy to glycol. This is merely confirmation bias in a report, at best. This is why they SHOULD be regulated, so the adequate warnings can be expressed and the low quality one thrown out of the market, but it does not show that ALL should just be removed.

We already see that your experience has shaped your worldview, but dont impose that on others.

Thats just it, most e-cig users will be fine with holding it in. As an ex cigarette smoker, I am still not ok with doing it openly in public spaces (movie theater, restaurant, etc.). However, if I feel that all too familiar feeling and going outside is an inconvenience, Ill take a drag, and just hold it.

Boom, no cloud. Simple as that.

Thank you for putting into words what I have failed to whenever someone asks me why I chose Backbone for our app development over Angular. The lighter wait library and MV* ness of it just made more sense over tying so much to the UI.

Ok, thats fine, but I dont spend anywhere near that amount, and I live in downtown Boston, one of the highest cost of living areas on the east coast. So, what I don't spend on a mortgage, I put into my savings and other equity assets. There is no world in which I live in that I could spend the same on a mortgage as I do in rent. I still end up financially on top renting over owning in this city. Sure, I can move, but I love the quality of life I have here, and I wont change it anytime soon.

Sure, theres equity in a house, but is that everything? Do I really need to leverage a loan against my own property to live comfortably? To send any future children to a great school? Do I need to end up so underwater with a mortgage to consider myself successful? The answer to all of these is no.

Oh please, this woman clearly doesnt live here. The media played it up. Officials simply asked us and businesses to stay home and stay closed. We, the citizens of Boston, complied because we felt that it would be the best for the greater good. No tanks were at my door telling me to stay inside. No one was arrested for walking down the block.

Take off the tinfoil hat once and a while...
