You got to realize they've built a giant circular vacuum tube surrounded by superconducting magnetic jackets that can steer and accelerate a particle beam (actually two going opposite directions), and giant cameras/calorimeters that image photons and other decaying particles from the beam collisions on the micrometer spatial scale. Each component individually may not be grand of scale and complexity but when taken as a whole it works together in amazing ways.

The entanglement theory would imply that if you build a detector that turns the gravity interaction into a finite piece of data observable by an (amplified) system, then gravity will act as an observer and collapse the waveform when it reaches that point. Hard to compare as it depends on application, the shaft speed differential is huge or you're comparing jet thrust to propeller thrust. I don't think small turbines (like RC jet turbine size) are usually very efficient as they are working against the surface area ratio of heat loss through the chamber walls and Reynolds number effects on the turbine blades.
