Bit-tech.net was a good one

Make the text fields non-editable or drop them entirely? The writing and clickable demos provide a very good lesson without using any text input.
Solar roadways might get the last laugh!
If the inverter is smart enough, nothing else would be necessary
Is it because the black hole is a macro distortion of spacetime and not a local quantum property?
This brought tears to my eyes:
But you—at your most frazzled, sleep-deprived, raccoon-eyed best—you can try. You can squint at the layers of abstraction and see through them. Peel back the nice ergonomic type-safe, pure, lazy, immutable syntactic sugar and imagine the mess of assembly the compiler pukes up.
Amazing
The emergency copper quench conductors the thickness of my arm were pretty cool to see.
You got to realize they've built a giant circular vacuum tube surrounded by superconducting magnetic jackets that can steer and accelerate a particle beam (actually two going opposite directions), and giant cameras/calorimeters that image photons and other decaying particles from the beam collisions on the micrometer spatial scale. Each component individually may not be grand of scale and complexity but when taken as a whole it works together in amazing ways.
Looks like around 1000mm full frame equivalent. You could do it with a kit lens and teleconverter or get a cheap catadiotropic lens.
Would be interesting if a non-diabetic person does the same trial, as a "control".
Note: This is pure speculation, and I'm not claiming to know anything more than passing knowledge about diabetes.
We should be taking a measured approach to shooting them (by that I mean we should be shooting them). So that they know to leave people alone.
This guy Sundars.
I've had automatic inertial valve adjustment in my mountain bike for 10+ years as well.
Intensive grazing (with rotation) is also better for the soil and plants.
At a gym I used to climb, there was also a Grigri "failure" where a lighter belayer was pulled up the the first clip, which then unlocked the Grigri until the climber hit the ground.
Pretty sure there were no major injuries thankfully.
Ground source heat pump might help close the gap
Does a superconducting semiconductor even make sense philosophically?
Hens are pretty quiet, except the first half of the daytime.
That sounds a lot like the atmosphere around AI right now
>who lack recurring cash flow to buy more of what they already own
You don't know anyone retired, unemployed, or employed but spending all that they currently earn due to having kids etc?
Money you almost made hurts equally as much as money you had and then lost. (That's Munger. In my opinion big money you almost made hurts more than big money lost.)
The entanglement theory would imply that if you build a detector that turns the gravity interaction into a finite piece of data observable by an (amplified) system, then gravity will act as an observer and collapse the waveform when it reaches that point. That's my take on the whole thing... It's almost like information theory. If the information is lost to the sands of time (below noise floor if you will) then the entanglement can continue.
Your 6-sided dice example sort of brings some focus to his argument of 'its not a real wave it's a math wave ". The result of a 6-sided dice roll exists more in our minds as "math dice" because for most people, if you rolled and it fell in a sewer, lost etc, you wouldn't consider the roll complete until you grabbed a different dice and rolled it. More attached to the person rolling it and the resulting 'what does the number affect'.
Try having your finger slip and smudge a buffalo drawing. You have to find a whole new cave to draw in!
Hard to compare as it depends on application, the shaft speed differential is huge or you're comparing jet thrust to propeller thrust. I don't think small turbines (like RC jet turbine size) are usually very efficient as they are working against the surface area ratio of heat loss through the chamber walls and Reynolds number effects on the turbine blades.
Still have to architect, review, and debug AI code.
This is a bad take. The business model is pretty clear: subsidized new line of business using the search revenu until it is so dominant that no competition is viable, only then heavily monetize it.
Not to mention apple silicon or the apple modem
I would guess it will jump to a grounded conductor inside the charging cabinet or the grounded case of the cabinet itself before it goes to the car that is sitting on rubber tires
Tiny nitro RC engines can produce 1+ horsepower in engines that weight 1/2 lb.
If they reintroduce them, they should at least let us hunt them so they remember to be scared of humans.
