Wrong website for saying this.

You'll be cancelled and flagged (and so will I). COULD NOT AGREE MORE!

I also want to see what happens after in 2020 the whole world has stopped. Let's how many degrees the temperature lowers even with most factories and economical activity gone for months.

GitHub was down 6 years ago

Many reasons, including your hosting provider going down.

At that point you'd have to create and manage a cluster.

You have to update servers, etc. etc. and if you count the hours is many times more than working locally and wait a couple of hours until technicians at GitHub fix the problem for you.

GitHub was down 6 years ago

People are advocating hosting their own Git repos, but wouldn't those go down, too, and wreck the day even more?

Or, are you guys all devops geniuses better than those who work at GitHub?

I'm fairly confident I could reduce their server costs to below their revenue in a matter of days or weeks.

I couldn't afford to put in the time for free, but surely there are others who can.

OK.

And even more insane is how people can completely disregard common sense and their own opinion and blindly obey an idea that sounds far-fetched to them just to placate easily-offended people—even if it's just copy/paste (which it isn't, if anything because people will need to re-learn an API).

This seems to be grossly miscalculated--at least for Italy.

No idea how these prices are calculated, but when I was still in Italy, I paid $15/mo. and only had 2GB. In contrast, here in Poland I pay $6/mo. and I get 20GB.

Also, I've never seen an infographic as confusing as this one.

Extremely bad job all around.

I don't understand why people keep wasting time with this.

Governments are both not doing widespread testing to see how many people have the virus, and taking draconian measures to contain its spread.

From what we know, 90% of the population already could already have it. Every time I read of somebody testing a big group of people a huge percentage has it, but the virus is so mild that they didn't even know—since it caused no symptoms.

Looks like there are many other diseases and problems that cause dozen of times more deaths, so either there's a reason why this is getting special treatment, or it's just a complete loss of common sense here, in my opinion.

So, you beat up old ladies and burn stores to do that?

I don't think anyone wants police killing people, but this is crazy and useless.

Also, was there not a pandemic where people were being chased eith drones to social distance? What happened to that?

I didn't write I don't like it, mostly think being more neutral and removing political statements might be better.

As for the Police, that was one guy. What percentage of cops kill innocent people, vs. save you from the bad guys (I was saved by cops twice, for instance). Also looks like the guy is going to be held at a higher standard and will get a harsh punishment. Is looting and burning down stores that in many cases represent people's life savings the correct way to solve the problem?

As you see, we could be talking about your chat, and we're talking about violence and depressing things like a store owner saving money for 20 years only to see it burn down by Antifa.

Gives out pretty negative feelings to me.

A sad emojii with a face mask is pretty depressing, and even worse if you see the mask as political.

Black lives matter is destroying cities across the USA.

I'm sure it's just me, but I wonder if anyone else sees this?

why not unilaterally label all of it with: "may contain lies, omissions and half-truths"?

Even if Twitter's motive was to help its users, that's just common sense. Does Twitter have such a low opinion of its users that it needs to treat them like 5-year-olds?

However, to suggest that the lungs are not being absolutely ravaged by the virus infecting, replicating and rupturing lung cells is ludicrous

I was talking about permanent damage. I actually read my comment again, and that isn't really clear.

Doctors in Italy are saying that ventilators were thought to be useful because people complained that they couldn't breath, but now they're saying that it's not the lungs that aren't working, but it's oxygen that is not carried out in the blood, and that ventilators can actually cause permanent damage in many cases.

I'm not a doctor, so I just base everything on what the (supposed?) experts are saying. As far as I know they might very well say that on TV because there aren't enough ventilators, no idea.

Everything I've read points to kids thinking that sex is not sex without a facial, gangbangs are normal, and women are objects.

I got particularly sad when I read about that Australian 16-year-old that has to shit in a bag for the rest of her life because she and her friends wanted to re-enact a rought-sex gangbang they saw on PornHub.

I also don't think porn explains what and where a clitoris is, or maybe we're watching different kinds of porn.
