I agree. Their spam filtering is absolute trash. I get 3-4 spam messages a day in my inbox. I file support tickets for it and they always tell me there is nothing they can do.

Uhh, I don't know about that. Since getting airtags I've misplaced my car keys multiple times, left my wallet on an airplane, and had multiple airlines misplace my luggage. In that same time I've not had anything stolen.

Its more than just theft. I've used airtags to find luggage misplaced (but not stolen) by airlines.

I agree with you on the UI, but left Fastmail and went back to Google workspace because of Fastmails poor spam filtering. 1-2 pieces of spam were hitting my inbox daily. On Workspace it's 1-2 a month.

Security and custom checks in Switzerland. Had to go through customs and security check before boarding a train between GVA and Paris. Also had everyone’s passport checked while on a train between GVA and Milan. Not just France and GB that have stops. Can’t forget Switzerland.

I went to a show from a big DJ at a small venue like this once. Had to buy in person with an ID and they checked IDs at the door. I think it works well at small venues but can’t see this scaling up to arenas and stadiums. The large venues already struggle getting people through the door fast enough.

In Thailand anytime a new SIM is activated an ID check is required. In the past I kept a SIM and I used to just move it between phones. Now when I want to move my eSIM between phones I need to go to the shop with my passport or do a video call with tech support and show my passport to them over the call. Such a pain in the ass.
