If the employees bought it, it would probably make more sense. Random people don't seem invested enough.

I would never use a Microsoft language since they discontinued VB6. Open Source languages are the only sane option.
Chinese investment in the US is inherently risky. For example TikTok. BYD would be stomping GM and Ford. The next thing you know, they would need to sell their factory.
Solar panels WERE cheap until 145% tariffs were applied
I don't know why people keep thinking that China will attack Taiwan. It took HK and Macao without a shot. I think China is following Sun Tzu.
"subduing the enemy without fighting," is the epitome of strategic thinking in his book, The Art of War. This means achieving victory through cunning, deception, and maneuvering, rather than through direct confrontation and bloodshed"
They are increasing their military knowing that US military costs 4+x as much. It might be 4x better so don't fight. Just bankrupt the US. Trump wants a $1T military budget next year.
Why would China want to conquer the West? Buying what it wants is cheaper than an uncertain military battle fought with Nukes.
China installed more industrial robots than the rest of the world combined.

I love Chromebooks. Windows is tras. Even if you buy a MacBook, Apple is able to reconfigure your machine at will.
which country?
What about the people that report parents to the police for endangering their children by allowing them to walk/bike to school?
TSMC is stalling to get more sweet US tax dollars.
Way more concerned about the US starting a new war to force China to buy some US crap.
Some of the Google errors are caused by malicious people doing user-generated nonsense. There is a parking lot next to water in Foster City called boat park. Inside the boat park, there was a dog run. Someone relabelled boat park into dog park and moved the boat park several hundred yards inland. I corrected it but it kept changing.
I have no problem with the owned scooters. The scooter rental market is designed to tax the walking infrastructure. They need to have plug in stalls like the electric bikes. There also needs to be a way of keeping them off sidewalks.
I used to drive my kids everywhere. I lived in the SF Bay Area and transit sucked. I moved to Vancouver, Canada and my kids can just roam around. Kids under 12 can ride for free on transit. The mall is 4 blocks away and there is a skytrain station there. I do track their phones but it is way safer.
The bigger problem for Boeing will be that they probably have fraud evidence in the 45G.
A defense contractor should have better security
I have been using an Intel samsumg chromebook for my dev machine and it is great. <$500. When I lose updates, I will buy a new one and still be ahead. Never buying windows or Mac again. Thinking about framework linux or chromebook
Gov'ts that want to monitor citizens for say a tendency to get an abortion have more power than a corp that wants to sell me diapers. One step at a time. Try to stop the worst offenses then work your way down.
I don't think that China has any interest in conquering the rest of World. They just want to be rich. They are stealing IP and spying. The fact that the US needs to use military force is a failure of policy.
Violence is the last resort of the incompetent.
I think that China is pulling on the US what the US did to the Soviet Union. The US bankrupted the Soviet Union with an arms race. China is doing it much more economically by spending 1/3 of the US. This is money that the US could be using to build a high speed rail network or educating its citizens.
I think that Globalization has increased the costs of war. You don't want to attack your suppliers. I also think that China is probably a paper tiger on offense but they are trying not to look like an easy target on defense. Most of their recent battles have been fist fights in the Himalayas.
Deglobalization is an attempt to make war feasible because some strong countries feel like they are losing economic war and want to fall back on real war.
The US has always made up for it's poor planning and educational system by accepting immigrants. SV is full of immigrants. By limiting immigrants, the US is limiting it's best advantage.
It is not like Washington is going to stop fighting culture wars and stabbing each other in the back.
It looks like she only ever wrote 2 articles for them. Maybe they don't pay much
EX-CIA official says panic about balloon makes US look weak.
vb6 does not exist anymore. It is the reason that I refuse to use Microsoft products anymore. I learned other languages, Just not Microsoft languages.
Lots like this University of Calgary 9 The University of Calgary 4
If this had been release 20 yrs ago, it would have been amazing. I left Windows when VB6 died.
Google Wave is a bad example. I went to the first hackathon and knew it was doomed. It never had any real traction.
Github has massive market share and may get expensive but is unlikely to die.
Is there something like this for bootstrap?
Several Universities in Canada offer co-op. I understand that it originated in the UK
Is there a way to pay for musicians but not the podcasts.
