Well if that's not a typical young Korean, then who is?

Younger generations are now heavily into MBTI. And I mean heavily: you won't find a person under 35 or so who doesn't know their MBTI letters.

Unfalsifiable does not mean pseudoscientific. Plenty of things might be unfalsifiable for humans (e.g. humans lack the cognitive capacity to conceive of ways to falsify them), but then easily falsifiable for whatever comes after humans.

It's incredible public confidence in scientists is still that high.

When the public turned to scientists with valid questions, they were met with "just trust me bro" and mockery for "doing your own research" in response to being dismissed.

Even worse: the "just trust me bro" people kept being wrong about one thing after another, then pretending a year later the opposite position was their position all along.

The general public isn't smart, but most people can remember life-and-death information they were given a year back.

They just gave patients a seemingly random score that nobody understood, on a scale of one to infinity.

I mean obviously it's broken UX and/or poor architecture overall. That's not an AI-creep problem.

We're perhaps middling at diagnosing neurology issues and we're terrible at treating them. Absolutely useless. If we haven't moved the needle in the last 50 years, then let's try to use AI to do it.

But you don't understand: what "your government" is doing is really bad. And a big part of Namecheap's team is the recipient of what "your government" is doing. And you paying taxes to "your government", or even at the grocery store as you live your nondescript life, is you implicitly supporting "your government" in doing those bad things.

Same here- I used to have all my domains on Namecheap until their CEO came on HN to announce that anybody who forced their parents to give birth to them in Russia has exactly 1 week to transfer all their domains away somewhere else.

I don't fall into that category, but this was so ignorant and insulting that I transferred away all my domains to Cloudflare and never looked back.

Using the Spotify API you can find random music, then find random instrumental music from that random music.

For this, I made a Spotify playlist with 41 hours of instrumental soundtrack music that helps me focus. It's not random like yours, but with that many hours, there's enough variation if you put it on shuffle.

It's mostly epic and uplifting movie scores. Or suspenseful and building up to something... none of that 8-bit video game beep boop shrill stuff.

Soundtracks are designed to be thrilling, uplifting, suspenseful, etc and they're an underrated source of programming focus. My muscle memory is to press they keyboard play button the moment I open VS Code. I don't even realize I'm doing it: programming = soundtrack listening.

My parent's generation all forward "articles" to each other's inboxes with full text in the message body. None of them, as far as I'm aware, have yet questioned who wrote the article, where it was published, what other sources have run the story, or whether the article content in the email message body has been manipulated.

Videos being fake? That's asking an order of magnitude more scepticism from them.
