There must be some law about articles proclaiming X is dead. Does anyone know of one? Something along the lines of "Any article declaring X is dead is always wrong and just trying to sell you something"

Dumbest article I've read in a while.

I think the main thing is, these are all green fields projects. (Note original author talking about executing ideas for projects.)

I mean no disrespect by this but when I saw the headline on HN I immediately thought it was about Scott Adams the text adventure guy. And then I started watching the video and was a bit confused at first before it all clicked.

Here's how AI coding has helped me : to beat procrastination.

Often while trying to fall asleep, I'll be thinking something like "I need my app to do such and such".

The next day, instead of forcing myself to start coding, I can literally say to Intelij Junie (using Claude), exactly that: "I need my app to do such and such". I'm often pleasantly surprised by the outcome. And if there's anything that needs to be tweaked, I'm now in the mode of critiquing and editing.
