I have miles to go before I sleep.. I like the reference to Stopping by woods on a snowy evening..
Great to see u made yourself a good life in east java.
My grandpa lived in Solo and my dad in Jakarta.
I tried so much to move there. But couldnt make it.
I am still stuck at the hamsters wheel in London. Hopefully i can get a fully remote job and then move to Indonesia. I can only dream !

did you mean crontab -r ?
I remember using crontab -r assuming that -r is to open it in read only mode. like vim -R
Bad assumption!
I have had decent experience using https://www.sharelatex.com/
I compile my cv using latex. And once I had to make a few changes to my cv. So I used their service from my office. It worked pretty well for my use case.
PS: I have no affiliation with them.
Hmmm. I might have got over excited there! Should have become suspicious when google din't give me anything related to "Japanese + nardi"
Woah ... pressure points (Nardi) is the same in Tamil too ! South Indian martial art form covers the use of Nadi (pressure points/nerves) to disarm/disable opponents. I think this would have reached Japan from mainland China. Also some research and folklore suggests that Bodhidarma was in fact a Pallava Prince who went to China and spread the marital art forms. However hard evidence is quite scant esp. in India.
may his soul rest in peace
niicee ! Yeah apparently midland trains are quite empty. Maybe I l do that as well !
True... you get a lot for the price of a studio in London really. lol. I was there too ! although it was rainy in MK when i reached there. I liked the place too. Its not rich in heritage so to speak. But for a decent middle class living with family and kids I think its a nice place.
Also not to mention you could commute to Birmingham should you get a good offer from there.
the issue with the travel from milton keynes to euston is that the peak hours virgin trains are completely packed and will struggle to find space in there.
tbh the prices in Milton Keynes have gone up as well. (P.S i am looking for houses there too !)
omg... i am close to making this decision myself ! just sick and tired of the soaring house prices in london.
exactly... dammit...
True that! When I first saw the starting credits of MGS i was like ...whoooaaaa !

I clicked the link a couple of times before i released what you have done.
and the plain dumb...
I recently cythonized the performance critical parts of a numpy/scipy based project with much success.
One does not necessarily need to get you hands dirty writing c-extensions ( although it can be a good exercise to learn the CPython API ).
In cython, you just need to sprinkle some static types to the inner loops and bump the speed up.
my heart somehow leaps when I see beautiful code like this.
Although I have tried to like clojure in all earnestness, I am somehow put off by the noise from clojure ( PS its not only about the brackets. )
Somehow the python code and also the haskell version looks so succinct yet sparse enough to be read.
maybe I am hardwired that way ...
one of the things I do in virtualenvwrapper is cdsitepackages to do some patch/workaround on the installed libraries. Not a lot though but its a nifty command to have.
having worked for Investment Banking clients I can see what the author intended to address.
I have seen a lot of abuse/ over use of excel/VBA
I once had to write CRUD front-end with Excel/VBA activeX components retrieving data from Sybase / SQL Server databases.
Which could have been easily engineered as a simple web-app. "But NO .. IT HAD TO BE A FUCKING SPREADSHEET"
How is it different from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Local_self-government_in_India#... ??
which has been practised from way before 7th century ?
[ The Tone of the question is curiosity and not a flame-bait please]
would have been nice if they added a radiocarbon dating of the artefacts too
true that !
godsend! i am learning css and this turns up on hacker news
yo .. that sudoko solver SQL and Madelbrot SQL is sick !!!
because it is a HACK !!?!
He has given a ted talk in bangalore

Need to wait and see if this service will bloat the app. Till now WhatsApp has worked wonderfully as a connection bus between friends and relatives. Don't know if this decision was rammed down WhatsApp's throat by FB ??
