I've had about 4 generations of surface devices. Never again. The frustration of that SP4 where every bodies screen would jitter and they would just stoiclly send me a replacement with the same problem. Until warranty expired.

Or every model after that just slowed down to a crawl after a year. Or the keyboard connection not working reliably.

I'm moving very slowly into AI coding. I'm not comfortable enough to let Claude do anything big. What I do is this: I set out general architecture, create function stubs and add comments on how to implement things. Then I let Claude do 10 minutes of work and I check everything and refactor some of it. It saves me on boring implantation stuff (like, is this an array, move an index here or there, check for whatever exists or not, put it in the db)

I've been working from a ARM windows laptop for a year now and have gotten so used to a full day of battery, I don't even bring a charger anymore. I would love a framwork or Starfigher laptop, but I don't feel like the batterylife on intel and amd is there yet?
