Congrats! Better auth still provides a grade A dev experience, even with all the plugins, integrations, and tons of things they support.

Best of luck over there!

Been working on this side-project for the last few months and finally put together a nice marketing page and docs site.

It's a beautiful dashboard and proxy for monitoring models, requests, and API keys. It also supports routing rules, and ,proxy metrics, playground tabs, additional attribution headers, and much more. In addition to local models, it also supports proxying anthropic / openai requests from local coding agents like claude-code so you get much more insight into what they're doing too.

Currently relies on llama-swap / llama.cpp as the underlying inference engine, but that part is designed to be very generic and easy to swap out / build support for additional inference applications like ollama, vllm, etc. as long as they expose similar APIs.

It's entirely self-hostable without any cloud services. I'd love to hear any feedback you all may have!

Vivaldi 8.0 2 months ago

Another happy user here - it's the power users chromium fork. Criminally underrated. It's a small Norwegian team with no VC funding and a sustainable business model.

I understand if you want to stick with Firefox, but until Ladybird and co are ready for prime time, I'm sticking with Vivaldi.

This major release bump is a bit disapointing though. Was expecting some more headlining features than just a bit of a UI clean up.

Anyone know much about the new top of the line Intel vs AMD CPU options? Which is more power efficient? Powerful?

Ethernet tethering with a USB-C adapter from my OnePlus 13 saved my ass last weekend as I had to restore a Proxmox backup of my OPNSense VM from a remote PBS, and obviously without it I didn't have normal internet connection at home.

Fantastic stuff. I wasn't sure if I'd have to set a static IP on my proxmox box in a predefined subnet, but nope Android spins up a DHCP server and everything is basically plug-n-play

Keeping track of what's going on in the world these days is almost impossible. So I put together this simplified static timeline site.

Help me make this a jumping off point and a template we can re-use for other high-profile events. It shouldn't be anything fancy, just a timeline of critical related events and (ideally) multiple sources.

Wow, someone with something to lose finally spoke up / out against the Trump administration!

While (unfortunately) rather heroic in todays day and age, I fear the retribution he's now called upon himself, Germany, and the EU in particular. Vance and Stephen Miller are already always whispering in Trump's ear about the evils of Europe / the EU, convincing him to take action on whatever they want won't be hard.

Sidebar: the fact that we have to be fearful of retribution due to such rhetoric is really all that needs to be said about the timeline we're currently living through.

Well it's a next.js app that's not vulnerable to react2shell, that's at least something they've done right haha
