I’ve been using machine0 for hosting openclaw and a couple of web apps i’ve been working on. Great product super easy to use with claude code.

It runs on pi, not claude -p
It is a social construct but if you just print money you get ... inflation. You can't just increase money supply to redistribute wealth without consequences.
It's your feed.
Everyones feed is different.
It depends on how much you train the algorithm.
Yours is untrained, therefore slop.
Pretty useful, just used it to make a "Business Card" that links to my LinkedIn profile.
This seems like the most likely explanation. Legacy AI out in favour of LLM focused AI. Also perhaps some cleaning out of the old guard and middle management while they're at it.
You can in Cloudflare containers
Asahi linux is making great progress. The only thing they have left to make it a truly capable linux environment is USB-C external display support. Once that lands I plan to use my M-series mac as a Linux machine.
Add to this list, ability to verify correct implementation by viewing a user interface, and taking a holistic code-base / interface-wide view of how to best implement something.
Pretty negative take, TV and Radio also exploit human attention in your book?
Technology wise they created React, PyTorch, GraphQL and Llama is open weights.
Meta has a 1.79T market cap, they definitely solved some very real problems to get there.
There are lots of companies doing well producing high quality products out of the gate today though, look at Linear.
Both approaches are valid for building sustainable enduring businesses.
Pretty cool, how does it compare to Parallel?
Just tried it out. Easiest way to use MCP. Nice work!
I use it to critique PRDs and also for research (e.g. tell me how this API works and does it support this use-case).
It is nowhere close to replacing a PM (sorry to the all the hypistas bigging it up) but it's quite helpful as an aide.
One thing this article gets wrong is how OpenAI isn’t an application layer company, they built the original ChatGPT “app” with model innovation to power it. They’re good at UX and actually have the strongest shot at owning the most common apps (like codegen).
How is US dependency a risk?
Probably the best turn based strategy game out there. Spent a few hours on this latest edition over the weekend has all the same core mechanics as 6 with a new ages system. Feels pretty fun so far!
The boring thing being buy and hold?
Looks fantastic!
It would as open source improvements would start to exceed performance of 3.5 for specific use-cases. At the very least they would have to make it fine-tunable.
It's probably NP complete.
One pitfall i've found with TypeScript is getting too clever with type definitions. Too much abstraction can end up eating up a lot of time (especially with a large team). This happens because as you say, the error messages are verbose and hard to follow.
Once we started keeping our type definitions small and simple we've found it's hugely beneficial.
Yeah it makes a great demo! But perhaps they also looked at the success of Miro & Figjam and realised a whiteboard is an essential part of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote suite?
Whiteboarding tools are used heavily by students in group projects. Students of today, are workers of tomorrow. So over time it will eat into Miro's userbase. But as with any Apple product since they won't make customisations/features for Enterprise it will never get that far.
That's because Miro sets the text size relative to the current zoom level... with even a small number of people it suddenly starts to look like a mess.
FigJam and I believe Freeform don't do this. It's insane how Miro scaled so effectively with base UX issues like this.

I'm assuming basic competence in other areas, product/eng/sales/design etc. if you don't have that AND you don't have a clear idea/insight, then certainly it will be hard to succeed.
This has to be the worst advice I've seen on HN since 2008.
It assumes if idea #1 doesn't work out quitting is the best way to go. The reality is once you have even a small team of co-founders or a slightly larger one together you have a group of people who have _hopefully_ learned to work with each other well and can move unencumbered to explore and test a variety of ideas, develop insights and ultimately increase their odds of success. Sure, it's not guaranteed to work, but it's probably better than the next best alternative.
And oh, good luck just shutting down and re-rolling into a new company with investors and employees.
