Not my intention. But yours was a bold claim, and I wanted to hear your thoughts.

I do not agree with you. Scala is a mostly functional language, and Kotlin is mostly imperative. How is that fixing Scala? They are two different languages, and Kotlin being newer, is inspired by, among others, Scala.

You can see in your peripheral vision, but not clearly, and not colors. This is because the cones in the eye are all in the center, and they are responsible for most of your daytime vision. Around the cones are rods, they are used for night vision and motion detection. The colors you see in your peripheral vision are not real, but an illusion made by the brain.

This Ted gives some good examples https://www.ted.com/talks/anil_seth_how_your_brain_hallucina...

By using an append-only Merkle tree, you make 'edits' by adding a new piece of data with information on what was changed in the older data. You get the benefit of also keeping a version history. I think Git works like this.

And when it is publicly known that the Apple, Samsung and Google compromises their operating systems, the adept criminals will flash their own operating system onto their phones.

Apple and Samsung need to provide a worldwide infrastructure for handling requests from law enforcement all around the world (also in the less liberal regimes). How secure can this process really be by now. It doesn't matter that the coppers cannot reuse the exploits, they will just request and receive a new one instantly.

Now criminals also have access to these services, since we now police corruption is a thing.

Linux is the operating system, the distribution is only a collection of apps running on top of the operating system. Ubuntu does not handle stuff like memory allocation or scheduling.
