It's an incredibly disingenuous article. I have a few of these gas cans and don't have any trouble with them. There absolutely is a vent in these cans. The article even mentions that they're still there, but aren't opened until you activate the top. My cans have a trigger that you pull to pour gas. As soon as you pull it, the gas flows freely. No more trying to invert the nozzle to reassemble the lid to close it anymore.

It is. OK Google won't unlock a locked phone unless the voice matches, and you specifically enable the feature that allows it to unlock the screen. Once the screen is unlocked however, only certain functions that access your account will need to match your voice (if you spent the time to get Google to recognize your voice.) Performing web or photo searches wouldn't require you to match the voice if the phone was otherwise unlocked.

Asking someone to silence their phone might just be an attempt to get them to unlock their phone before issuing the offending command.

I have an Onhub with four chromecasts and five google homes and have experienced the issues described. I noticed that sometimes if I wake my galaxy s7, other devices in the room might lose connectivity for a few seconds. I couldn't place why it would happen sometimes but not others, but this makes sense. I wonder if it might also explain why if a media app is casting and goes to sleep, it forgets that it's casting when it wakes up.

In my experience, how boring an exercise is seems to be inversely related to your aptitude with that exercise. Running started out to be extrememly boring. I would listen to audiobooks while out on a trail. After a few months, I would notice that I'd miss sentences here and there. If I tried harder to concentrate on my otherwise very interesting audiobook, my running pace would suffer considerably. Eventually, I couldn't do books any more and switched to music. After a couple of years, I found the music distracting, and my pace increased when I did away with it. This also seems to be a theme I've noticed while weightlifting in the gym. The more proficient I am with a movement, the more my brain is being engaged.
