Great advise! I wanted to add a bit more to it. As you age the number of novel experiences and "space" for those experiences in your brain decreases. So the first 20 years of your life you accumulated a lot of new experiences while your brain was growing an expanding. For this reason it feels like you lived in regular time. Your final 20 years will mostly be nothing new and what is new will largely include a base that is shared based on past experiences. This is why as you get older time moves faster.

As you said in your comment there is a market for renting. I think in an ideal world, housing prices would not increase so rapidly. I remember a time where houses went up a lot more from quality renovations than just waiting a few months. A situation like that would increase the demand on rent and make it less appealing for slumlords and give them more incentive to keep quality tenants happy instead of viewing them as a space filler until you can cash out in a year.

I don't agree with you fully. Async most certainly always returns a promise and as such can easily be combined with promise functions, like Promise.all. Your understanding of stack traces on promises is also old/uninformed. I work on an enterprise grade node app that was started back in node 0.11. Bluebird, which was what one used, offers good stack tracing and improved stack tracing has been available for async await for a few years now. Infact, I don't think I have had to go out of my way to get a decent stack trace in about a year or more now. There are certain paradigms you can adopt that keeps promise chains clean just like you would adopt with callbacks. I can't comment on if async await was implemented poorly as you are certainly more knowledgeable there with the RFC you shared.

I have not actively used Reddit in over a year and am better for it. Their design is one of the most hostile I have seen in a website. I wish it was an area that allowed for competition because someone needs to give Reddit's head a shake.

If you actually watch the video you can see they are no longer allowed to upload content so I think you're wrong. It's also going to be very difficult to host anything when the government has a total crackdown on internet. You host some videos of war there and I can guarantee it would come back to you very quickly.

I've driven through an intersection almost daily my entire life. It was switched to a roundabout a few years ago. I have had more near misses in that roundabout from people not yielding or people continuing around in the outside lane than my entire life driving and never had a single issue with the intersection prior to it being a roundabout. I like roundabouts. I would like to see a study on how many near misses happen in roundabout vs. regular intersections. Too much stress.

Canada simply will not have the infrastructure to support this outside of major cities. Hopefully I'm proven wrong but I know people down the street from me where the max speed of internet you can get is 15mbps. I got a lot of places where there would not be any feasible way to charge my vehicle and make the full journey and that's only within a few hours of multiple major cities.

Wouldn't it be better to ask in the MR if they could just write a test to cover that case? It prevents wasting your time writing a test case that's going to be thrown out and prevents the other engineer from being blind sided by someone else committing a test case to their branch. Why would you treat this group of protestors so much more harshly than ones that, say, block railways? Also, I think a lot of what you're saying is very narrow minded. To get a group of people together to protest anything is a miracle and to expect them all to behave like their some sort of hive mind is just willful ignorance. There will always be bad actors, even with proper leadership. I think you need to spend some time reflecting on your world views or how you view groups of people and compare these protestors with others in Canadian history. I am also using Zoho for a custom domain for a while now and it's been quite good. Customer support is decent and usually get a reply within a day or two if via email.
