I am - A few years ago I semi-retired from coding for start ups to start up a community farm. We do weekly veg boxes along with half-pigs, lambs, honey, eggs, goats milk, cheese and meat.

It all depends on how big a label they're with and so what terms they get from spotify but it looks more like 2000 (track) plays = ~200 full plays of an album in the best case scenario and perhaps as bad as 100,000 track plays in the worst case.Part of the problem is that its essentially impossible to tell from the outside which is which.

Completely agree - I've 'semi-retired' from doing tech start-ups to start a CSA project and its been absolutely superb!

I use backtick as the screen command, which is fine unless you write a lot of bash scripts.

$ screen -e '``'

I'd potentially come down from cambridge for one if the date/time worked out.

For a small startup without a dedicated sysadmin I can't think of anything better than EC2 for handling this kind of thing.

as an emacs junkie I use backtick for my screen control. Works fine till you try to paste blocks of SQL containing loads of said backticks - easy way to fubar a screen session.

Perhaps its emacs' fault but finding an easy to use key or key combo that isn't already in use is far too hard!

At my startup, psonar, we believe in mp3s vs streaming - particularly for the 'kids'. I sit in front of a computer all day so streaming is ok for me, but teenagers spend far more of their time listening to music away from a computer. ipods, phones etc play a bigger part for them than computers.

Its also not just economically that streaming falls down, technologically the battery life and network bandwidth isn't there either - and doesn't show a lot of signs of improving rapidly

Loosely put, my feeling is, that for a startup, you need to focus testing on those parts of the code that you believe will still be being used in six months time.

My understanding is that funders will expect to see an option pool for employees of around 10-15%.
