Well- I guess its the same than with Cortana integration us. Here in NZ we don't have Cortana and/or the band (1 or 2).

While I have "Google now" on my Android and iPhone users can use Siri. I guess Microsoft simply isn't interested in small markets. Australia (bigger market) get's the Cortana and the Band.

Yeah, you're right- while they are talking about side effects, they are not really highlighting what actually is more productive.

I recently had a discussion with a co-worker who is amendment that she is more productive programming planning at night. I used to be the same, but I have switched to an early morning start instead and found that the quality of my work increased drastically. I guess it depends on the person- but I wonder if anyone would have had similar experiences?

Don't stop re-inventing things! I know there probably are hundreds of those scripts/plugins out there - but this one made me laugh! Well done!

I've heard rumours Samsung is already using HERE heavily internally. So it would make sense- but what will happen to the other that are currently using it to (they've mentioned Microsoft, BMW etc. in the article).

Ah, I didn't know all that. Do you have some links regarding this? Very interesting.

Whow- I hope they won't get through with that. If they are going to get through with that- where does it end? It will set an example for all the other struggling economies in the EU to extort money out of what appears to be the only performing economy in the EU at the moment.

I completely agree with that! I know so many people coding ridiculous hours, and all they do is causing more problems the next day. Less hours = Better focus

Plan your food and sleep. Probably exercise. Get a fitbit (or similar) and find your sweet spot (sleep tracking is awesome with those things). When you feel good- you're most effective.

If you're having deadlines, take long breaks and go back to work after you've done something different (essentially shift working but within reasonable hours).

Don't "overdose" yourself with energy drinks, or too much coffee/tea. I have found that some energy drinks do affect my ability to focus negative. Same with coffee- too much is limiting (my) ability to focus.

All those things helped me. It can be different for you, but it's probably a start.

Very interesting device. I just fear that they will lock it down' like it's the 90's and would come with no open API. And then of course the security stuff... but that's everywhere now ...

wow, VERY impressive. What you can do with that!!

I guess some of the old dusty GIS Enterprise Solutions, now _slowly_ have to start worrying about competition in such form (I know you can't compare it to a full Featured GIS, as a map is only a component of many many things that are required to be usefull). Current solutions are way behind and the moment when it comes to the presentation and manipulation of data (imho). They will have to up their game significantly to stay relevant.

Not sure what I should think about this, as the "global mode" from the IS is circumventing GeoIP locking and (on top of that) advertise with the possibility to get netflix.

On the other hand, netflix will probably never go to NZ because there are not enough people (only ~4M). So it's either that, illegal download or waiting for months (and coping with those pesky add-breaks).

Many people complain that quickflix (the NZ competitor to netflix) is missing out on a lot of content.
