do you think the supreme court did this because they share the same opinion as rbg? I think this Case was maybe a wonky solution for the Problem but it was the only one you Americans Had.

Correct. Federated Learning is basically Machine Learning but the Learning occurs directly on the same devices where the data is (e.g. phones). Each device trains a model and sends it to one central model, which combines all of them together. With this it is not necessary for the central model to know about the data which is good with regards to data protection laws.

After upgrading to 11.10 I kinda raged for about one hour. Then installed KDE. And I am looking out for an alternative distro that fits my needs.

Hm yeah I recently discovered Xara Xtreme, what seems to be quite similar to Fireworks from my point of view. I once tried Inkscape but it literally grossed me out just like photoshop did. Maybe eventually I'll give it another try.

Ubuntu is great, I have it up and running on my laptop since about 2 years. But I have WinXP, too. Just because I need Fireworks (I absolutely can't get along with PS or Gimp) and Wine is okay, but it makes the applications so slow...

That is really the only damned reason, I still have to switch between Win and Linux on my Laptop. If Adobe's products would run flawlessly on Linux, I'd never touch Windows again.

Thank you so much for that framework. I just started implementing it in my latest app. Looks great! I'm struggling a bit with the modals implementation, but I'll get it to work.
