Lately I've been adding a repl service to my docker compose configs so the agent can easily send fragments of code for execution in the project context without incurring the clojure startup costs each time.
So cool to watch the AI get into a tight learning loop when it has access to all the internal data structures.
Does eval in these other languages evaluate ASTs or strings? It makes a difference.

Maybe I'm more attuned to this type of thing having grown up as a national of a smaller state living in the shadow of a bigger state but you constantly see actors from the bigger state belittling and condescending anything contributed socially or economically from the smaller state.
And I see this sort of dynamic here in this forum where Americans very frequently talk condescendingly like this about Europe generally and European tech especially (they did it to China too but China smartly ignored this self-interested nonsense and carried on anyway which is what Europeans should do).
It really grates on me and presumably many others. But it serves an agenda too of a lot of the founders and financiers that hang out here that have big fat customers in Europe they'd like to keep sweet and competitors they'd like to keep down.
Isn't it up to Europeans to define the purpose of the EU? What's your claim to having the right to define it?

Isn't it equally dumb to continue to bet the entire country's economy on a tiny little bit of England (and then shame the other regions as unproductive layabouts when they don't produce as much tax revenue)? Energy production is not the only, nor even the biggest imbalance in UK resources. Maybe people and businesses should go where the energy is instead of waiting for it to come to them.

When you're using an agent, the "query" isn't just each bit of text you enter into the agent prompt. It's the whole conversation.
But I do wonder about these tools whether they have tested that the quality of subsequent responses is the same.
They're not exactly proportional to the value of the property though are they? There's folks in London with multi-million pound mansions who pay the same or less in council tax than a family home in the suburbs.
Also, what would they win? The death of their wealthiest customers?
I think Apple benefits from the tax incentives, "stable" society, and freedoms in my country too. And it employs many people here and elsewhere around the world and there is no chance it could sell as many units as it does without those people

Why _should_ Apple employ only Americans (whether in America or elsewhere)?
They generate revenue all over the world. Seems only right that their costs should be distributed around the world too.
There are 50 different sets of regulations in the US though and lately even federal regulations have been "changeable" shall we say from year to year.
