Map of scientific collaboration between researchers | Stuff I made

I am sure they would have covered some fad in the science & technology section. Like some vague research claiming that wine is good for heart or chocolate is good for memory etc.

The truth is that most of Indian dailies are not fit for reading any science related news or even news for that matter.

C is the only language that I use at work (along some basic scripting). Due to work that is mainly firmware, device drivers etc. Honestly at times, I do feel that embedded engineers are odd persons out here at HN.

[dead] 15 years ago

I am getting goosebumps after seeing this on HN.

They could have stopped at just translating and printing it on the screen, but they show it the original form, that is the difference between doing things and doing the things beautifully.

I am spellbound.

5GHz opened up pretty recently. This along with high of cost of making a 5GHz radio and wider acceptance of 802.11ng is reason for Wifi still sticking to 2.4 ISM band.

Here is an interesting fact, that I read about Paul Erdos, He once said all babies (he used to call them epsilons, because babies are really small!) remeber the solution for Riemann Hypothesis. The only problem though is that they tend to forget everything once they reach the age of six month.

As this involves rain and earth, This poem immediately springs in the mind.

The red earth and pouring rain.

Red earth and pouring rain[1] What could my mother be to yours? What kin is my father to yours anyway? And how Did you and I meet ever? But in love our hearts have mingled as red earth and pouring rain
