These are really important questions when evaluating a place to live. The point about “tourism” is somehow covered by mentioning the nearest national park—unfortunately only in the US, which leads to Arcadia National Park for all European locations. What‘s going on with all these code-2-music tools these days? See other front page discussion about strudel.cc [1]. Did I enter an established bubble or is there a rising trend? It‘s incredible, though, what people are able to obtain with it, especially when built-up during a live session [2].

So far this extension was a solution for accessing Mail-Accounts hosted on Exchange and even O365 by using OWA in a miraculous manner. It‘s not easy to overlook how this compares for simple end-user.

The more videos with the FW12 moving and used before the Camera I see, the less I can ignore the fat bezels. The design language at all is not made for „business“ which is refreshing and they obviously have a budget approach, but such ancient bezels don‘t do a contribution for anything. The lack of any Windows Hello enabling hardware was the final bit for my sad no-buy decision.
An inconspicuous app with a not-so-catchy name with a natural, moderate development history, good documentation and the claim to be the perfect tool for digital text in the Apple ecosystem (although there is also a Windows version). Works with a real flat file storage, which can be synchronized with various services, including WebDAV and explicitly also Nextcloud.
I would love to have something like this in order to provide the office features for documents hosted in nextcloud directly. Yes, there is Nextcloud Office/Collabora Office but this needs separate provider and is not included in hosted Nextcloud (e.g. at Hetzner). The ease of OneDrive + MS365 in comparison is quite attracting. For my current use (sharing documents in a team of 50 - non-commercial but somehow professional approach) the latter is still the tool of choice. Being able to share a link, which allows others to directly edit presentations and spreadsheets in a browser (while the files are available in a local file structure) is just great.

I would like to see the calculation for sour milk / Acid-set cheese, especially German variety Harzer. Among countless kinds of cheese, despite strongly polarizing due to its taste and smell, it has some "super food" features: Harzer contains very little fat (less than 1%) but extremely high protein (usually around 30%).

I like this approach of "modules" very much, especially compared to MS365 cosmos where you've got the great four apps very prominent and new apps / functions hiding their potential power behind a lot of new names and rather confusing menues.
What is your vision about email? I know, it's not an advanced nor modern technology but still the established backbone of office communication, especially if you want to conquer the given field. Despite MS365 has Outlook as default app working with emails in other contexts is still a pain.
The first Extreme Programming project was started March 6, 1996. Extreme Programming is one of several popular Agile Processes. It has already been proven to be very successful at many companies of all different sizes and industries world wide.
This was my paradigm through the last years and I'm always promoting it to my colleagues. What for should invest something in folder structures (representing only one of many possible criterias)? Reliable automation for this task find its limits when subject-lines are not written in in a formally complete an consistent manner. And of course since Googlemail preached "never delete" we all stick to some email hoarding attitute (better having it than needing it, especially for long running projects there are some arguments). This way I left a 90 GB Mailbox at the company I worked for before. :-)
But such unstructured bunch of emails is hard to manage, if any subset is to be handled over to another person or to be archived in some other environment. Furthermore size limitations for the inbox will force you to get rid of something earlier or later. And there is no fun in going through thousands of emails from years ago. Therefor I recently started to at least using a rough structure of folders for archiving (all mounted as sub-folders of Inbox and therefore searchable at a glance).
Some categories (ToDo, Waiting for result etc.) I'm realizing by categories in Outlook. This is quite handy to follow-up as search-queries for those categories and more can be pinned as virtual folders in Outlook.
However, I wish there were more tools in Outlook for categorizing emails while leaving them all in the same place. I'm not sure whether I ever will become an exemplary user of Inbox Zero or even reach this state.

For my hosted E-Mail I've configured one inbox as "catch all unknown". This allows me to "generate" e-mail addresses on the fly without any configuration (at least receiving). Once one of the addresses / aliases was burnt for some reason I could make a separate postbox of it with all blocking rules and dead end for spam. This is a quite comfortable way for me, although the emails are not flagged in any way. They will come through in any case and I postponed the the work to any malicious event.

When I started this website, my screen size was a mere 13" and my resolution was 1024x768. Over the years, screens have become both larger and smaller (tablets and smart phones). My authoring software is unsophisticated and may not auto-rearrange to suit. So, apologies if my site doesn't look its best; I can only suggest using your browser zoom control to assist with legibility.
With the Econic[1] Mercedes Benz as one of the established manufacturers of utility vehicles already offers a product which implements some of the mentioned advantages of lower position for driver an extended window area. Here in Germany they can be often seen as garbage truck or fire fighting truck[2] in the cities. An BEV version was announced[3].
On the other hand, even tallest semi trucks (here 40 tons class) are allowed to roll through German cities widely. They are often involved in accidents with pedestrians or bicylclists with fatal outcome. The main reason is bad sight when turning right. Therefore turning assistants[3] will become mandatory. However, placing the driver better and giving him more field of view is preferred.

Same here in Germany, where regular operation of Teletext (or called "Videotext" here) started in 1979[1] and is still a thing. Surprisingly, I experience deaf people in my sphere using it. Of course, all the information is available on websites as well, but the strict form and reduced text amount per information in Teletext seem to make it very accessible for those who struggle with complexity of written language.
I like this app as well as this is an effective hindrance to not get sucked into the recommendations and losing time with endless amount of content youtube rates as interesting for me (and it often really is, unfortunately). Nevertheless, I like some channels and their visibilty and success depends on views, likes and interactions. If it is just about monetization, there are alternatives beyond youtube, but pure visibility and growth if the chanel isn't already established to its full potential? I'm wondering in how far I'm weakening those channels / creators when accessing their content through this tool.
I understand this objection. For me this is an acceptable compromise. I'm using logseg where links to pages [[]] and blocks (()) are noted the same way. In contrast to standard markdown links []() where displayed text and path is separated it fits better in typing flow if there is only the handle of page / tag required in brackets. Furthermore, at least Logseq is rendering those internal links diferently.
Another non-standard-markdown markup which Logseq allows is ^^highlighting text^^. However, this is something I miss at pure markdown.
The compromise is perfected as Logseq allows to remove those special markup for exporting content and using it elsewhere (e.g. as Pandoc input).
Don't know how MdSilo will handle this.
Although throwing this in is quite late: This discussion shouldn't be left wihtout mentioning https://logseq.com/ which I and many others utilized as my place for notes, sources and texts. There is a lot of activity around it - promoting, extending and developing this toll further
Having had only a short view on MdSilo I'm not able to distinguish all similarities or differences. Logseq is clearly defined as an outliner (every block is a bullet point) but all the other features look pretty similar.
Especially that Logseq as well as MdSilo are living in (chromium-alike) browsers working on local files (accessible as plain text) is a feature which I can't underline enough as this allows to use your notetaking environment idependently of user privileges.
Is anybody able to add something for a contrasting juxtaposition? With now 1000+ pages generated during heavy usage of Logseq during the last weeks it is unlikely for me to switch but might be helpful for other users.

I assumed also a more correct way of "simulation" in Chromium-derivates, but looks exactly the same on Chromium (Windows).
And not to forget LogSeq (https://logseq.com) which is often mentioned in a row with the above and somehow the new kid in town. Works with local markdown files but lives in your browser (so useful even in environment with low privileges). Allows linking and querying notes and blocks swiftly.

Basically I can understand this yearning for a messaging service with the ease of SMS in the good old day - no need for an app and everybody was able to recieve as this is just an infrastructure protocol. Indeed, RCS looks promising to let this principle live further.
RCS has a long lasting history but is driven forward mainly by google during the last years. [1] One mayor flaw is that it comes basically without end-to-end encryption which - again - google announced to add an roll-out slowly. [2] Furthermore its unclear in how far Apple will implement RCS [3]. And last-but-not-least there is lack of some feature we are used to by messenger apps, like avatar picture, status message, live location etc.
With 473 M users worldwide [4] it seems to be everywhere an nowhere. I'm checking from time to time with my contacts, but I've not seen the lock symbol in the Android Messages App on by up-to-date Pixel phone.

Yes, I try to keep all the alternatives available. Threema has a fine reputation privacy-wise and has obviously a business concept (which of course builds a hurdle for users not appreciating the difference that means). Main downside for my usecase is the lack of a true cross-platform approach. They offer a cumbersome web-client only by phone connection (similar to that what WhatsApp allows).
