what is the meaning of "too late"? the planet will survive, the organisms will adapt, humanity will die so what? maybe some amebas will evolve into something more peaceful that the savages we have become.

consume less, be moderate, have a healthy lifestyle, avoid civilization and have an abundance of happiness! and MOST important - don't read stupid comments on HN haha

The capitalism that we have rn is actually a form of socialism :) I don't want to be that pessimistic about 3rd world war, a horrible solution to a big problem. I think humanity has a chance to have abundance, we need to be united and don't trust governments and banks and medical institutions, I can see that a lot of people are going through a healing phase of their mental state, they giving up all of the brainwashings and taking a red pill. Question is - will everybody use his chance on time? We will see. Peace.

I read the comments and see there are two types of engineers - conservatives and liberals, those who work for big corporations, draw UML diagrams with factories, bridges and facades and throwing arguments that because of some regulations or privacy policies your architecture can change and you need to be prepared for it. Those guys are right.

More liberal engineers are saying that keeping code simple is the key and to keep it simple you need to be smart and creative. Those guys are right as well.

Now back to reality, the conservative developers will always work on the code that was written by liberal developers because the latter deliver sh*t in time that works and carry the business on their shoulders, where the first makes it work in another scale.

Conclusion - there are different types of engineers and our responsibility is to accept that humans are not machines and somebody likes to CREATE vision and value, others like to manage huge system that are complex.

it doesn't look promising with the latest beef in the community and the last release notes that I saw in this project - to be real, they're laughable in comparison with flutter 1.9 changelog.

flutter is based on skia rendering engine and recently they added support for web assembly, it's a matter of time. the thing is, think in terms of capacity and vision, react native is done, flutter will move.

if you're a corporate slave then pick react native because it's easier to find a JOB with it. If you're a dinosaur who started his career coding in Delphi then pick Xamarin. If you want to enjoy development and make some side project/startup pick Flutter. If you don't respect yourself or you are funny - C++ + native views, that's a huge ROFL.
