Looks good - I like the TUI a lot. The only thing with that type of interface is that there is no chance my wife would use it via the terminal. It would be cool if there was a web UI as well - so other members of the household could access and use it.

Why would re-using a buffer be bad? Assuming you write to it with the contents of the file/stream before it is read.

I worked at Argonne National Lab for two years as a web developer for a few projects (https://afleet.es.anl.gov/home/, https://energyjustice.egs.anl.gov/).

The people I worked with were super smart in their fields, but were pretty bad at writing code / handling data outside of Excel so they usually hired interns to help with code-related stuff. Some of the divisions had full-time software developer teams, but I was the only software developer in mine.

The pace was extremely relaxed, deadlines were not tight at all.

I worked remotely, but came in to the office a few times a month. The campus is beautiful, as it is right inside a nature preserve. Everyone there is doing scientific work, so it feels like a real scientific think tank atmosphere and I loved it.

I feel like I’m watching an explosion of progress in AI image generation in real-time.

Every day there’s a new application of Stable Diffusion. It’s incredible to watch unfold

Just want to put my two cents in and say I love the format. I think it definitely appeals more to younger folks with all the emojis and cartoonish styles (like myself, early twenties).

But the interactive prompts are great. They really get you to engage with the content. The humorous tone strikes a good balance and doesn’t get distracting as well.

I’ll probably buy the course once more chapters are released.
