Currently, my business model is similar; most of the code is free, and we offer some PRO components along with enterprise support. My goal is to be 100% open source.
I understand that you can start creating faster using their utilities, but as a UI library creator, I have to write more complex styles and can't do this with Tailwind.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience, can you send me our support reply to lukasz (at) coreui.io, I will check want went wrong because ETA is 6-12 months is not possible for bug reports.
I just try to learn something from others. My main goal is to create the best software and help other developers, that's why I consider many opportunities how to develop the company.
- We can sell it and develop our products in other organizations.
- We can find investors, we are in talks with some VCs.
- We also do not have to change anything if we decide that it will be best for our products and users.
In current version I only removed components from bootstrap.scss, but in future version I also want to remove some code from scss files like for example _navbar.scss. Who needs 3 versions of navbar in one project?
It's ease to keep it up to date. I added my scss files to bootstrap.scss, so if new version of bootstrap will be released all I need to do is update bootstrap scss file in my project.
