This sounds very interesting. Can give more details on "whisper to transcribe and make sense of long ramblings, turning a 20 minute voice memo from a car ride into a functional plan"? The apps that you use, and the workflow.

I convert to mobi using Calibre and mail to the amazon personal documents account (name@kindle.com). It adds WhisperSync.
would be good to have the option to view full scoreboard. Plus display the 1st inning scores too.
I just use a notebook to keep track of stuff. Evernote is one of the options you can check out.
The reviews for Mission City cafélook really good. Will try it out. Thanks!
Been to the Starbucks on Lawrence and El Camino. Bit too crowded for my liking. I somehow could never get work done in a library. Bit too quiet. :)
Thanks! Will try them out. My day job is in Milpitas and I live close by.
I would subscribe if 1. Not very expensive. Something around $10 2. Has good vegetarian options.
Here what I feel. Posterous v WP blog ( hosted on a custom domain and not *.wordpress.com)
Posterous : Pros 1. Very easy to set up. 2. Easy to put up photo albums (no need for plugins etc) 3. No need for upgrading etc. Posterous does that for you.
Cons: 1. Limited customization (themes, widgets etc) 2. Cannot put up ads
A good target audience would be the students (esp seniors) - sending a thank you note after an interview.

I think both cater to a different set of people/photos. I upload only those photos to Facebook which have a 'social' element - Birthdays, weekend trips with friends etc. But Flickr is more for photos which I click as a hobby and as a photo backup service.
I disagree. I moved here from Indiana for a job. The company flew me over here for the interview and also paid for relocation when I moved here. Same situation for all my friends. We are new college grads, so the situation might be different.
You can use the right arrow for 'I'm feeling Lucky'.
Donate to a couple of Android devs. Cyanogen and probably the dev of LauncherPro.
I would say second one because you get to apply the knowledge you have in a meaningful way.Having a mentor would be the added advantage.
1.Installing wordpress on your domain is free. Use this - http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress It is very easy to set up. 2. I personally use Posterous.(http://posterous.com/) Very easy to use. Has comments too.
That was an awesome answer. Thanks. I did C as part of course and the rest because of interest. VLSI is mainly software driven. I have worked with Hardware descriptive languages like Verilog. As per the suggestions above, I have decided to take up an open source project and hone my software skills and then try for a job change.
Ya. That would probably be the best bet. Can you suggest which would be better-Ruby or Python? I have some experience with Perl.
Thanks! The link looks interesting. Will have a look. Now just have to find some time for programming.
