The link above is from a local reporter about this location. They literally just fixed this very wall not just 3 months ago. The insurance company had to come out and redo their work because while they had been working on it another car hit the same wall and destroyed their prior work. That was back in December.

This was last night and I believe the 5th time its been hit, Though I've been told its been hit more times than that from before I moved in too. Thank you super bowl drunk driver.

Nope, you should be yourself and other should learn how to accommodate based on nuances. This is what it means to be empathic and to be emotionally intelligent.

Sadly this is a skill many lack, so thus you too must be emotional intelligent and be aware of other's lack in ability communicate effectively.

You must eat the dog food as they say.

Many have told me I am, I've never been diagnosed and I don't care to. My child on the other hand if effected differently than myself and they standout regardless if they announce it or not. They don't need to announce it, its apparent. I would rather they lived in a world without labels and in a world more accepting of their personality with out having to prepare others or get permission just to exist.

I hope you find comfort in just being yourself and not define yourself based on some attributes. You are more than the sum of your attributes.

For example I'm also a Jew by DNA (30% exactly) though I'm nothing like a jew and supports a free Palestine. I'm also a Russian who supports a Ukraine. Again, I think we are living in a world of invisible lines and fake labels.

Though if you pick a label, might I suggest my favorite label. "Human"

Edit:

I've been asking GPT4 interesting questions about Carl Jung.

Heres a prompt I recently gave in in the context of Jung's theory.

Prompt:

Lets use carl jung's strategies for people who are introverted who are now trying to be more extroverted in social group settings. Give me some basic advice.

ChatGPT:

For introverts aiming to become more extroverted in social group settings, leveraging Carl Jung's insights can provide a thoughtful approach to personal growth and social interaction. Jung, who coined the terms "introvert" and "extrovert," emphasized the value of understanding and integrating various aspects of our personality. Here are some strategies based on Jungian psychology that can help introverts navigate social situations more comfortably:

1. Understand Your Introversion

Self-Reflection: Start by understanding what introversion means for you. Jung believed in the importance of self-awareness and understanding one’s own psychological makeup. Recognize the strengths of being an introvert, such as deep thinking, empathy, and the ability to listen and process information thoughtfully.
2. Balance Rather Than Change
Seek Balance: Jung’s concept of individuation involves integrating different aspects of your personality to achieve a balanced, whole self. Rather than trying to change your introverted nature, aim for balance by developing your extroverted side in ways that feel authentic and comfortable to you.
3. Start Small
Gradual Exposure: If large social settings are overwhelming, start with smaller, more intimate gatherings where you feel safer and more comfortable. Gradually increase your exposure to larger groups as your confidence grows.
4. Leverage Your Interests
Common Interests: Engage in social activities that align with your interests or passions. It’s often easier to communicate and connect with others when you share common ground, and your enthusiasm for the subject can naturally make you more outgoing.
5. Practice Active Listening
Active Listening: Use your introverted strength of listening to engage with others. People appreciate feeling heard and understood, and this can create a positive impression without requiring you to be the center of attention.
6. Mindful Speaking
Thoughtful Contribution: When you do speak, let your words be thoughtful and meaningful. Jung valued depth over superficiality, so contributing quality over quantity can be your strength in group settings.
7. Embrace Your Authentic Self
Authenticity: Be true to yourself in social settings. Jung stressed the importance of authenticity in psychological health. You don't need to pretend to be someone you're not; instead, find ways to express your true self within social interactions.
8. Shadow Work
Integrate Your Shadow: If you find certain extroverted qualities in others triggering or challenging, this could be an opportunity for shadow work. Reflect on what these reactions say about unacknowledged or undeveloped parts of yourself.
9. Set Realistic Expectations
Self-Compassion: Be compassionate with yourself. Developing more extroverted behaviors takes time and practice. Celebrate your progress, no matter how small, and don’t be too hard on yourself for any setbacks.
10. Seek Meaningful Connections
Depth Over Breadth: Focus on making a few meaningful connections rather than trying to be liked by everyone. Deep, authentic relationships are often more fulfilling for introverts and can be built one-on-one or in small groups.
By embracing these strategies, introverts can explore and develop their extroverted side in a way that honors their inherent nature. Remember, the goal isn't to become an extrovert but to enhance your ability to navigate social situations flexibly and confidently, enriching your personal and professional life.

Please forgive me as I'm just creating this project and there is little to show.

That said I wanted to get it out there for a number of reasons.

#1 I may not be around long enough to see it finished.

#2 I'm not doing this for just me

#3 I think we all have had this idea

Food for thought:

* Big investors almost never invest the year leading into a general election. They already spent all that money on bribes and lobbying.

* So much of the US had already outsourced a great part of their manufacturing.

* Much of that manufacturing went to china. (be sure the check the news that china is making in the US today)

* We are more politically divided than ever before (I don't think this is mutually exclusive to the US)

* We are experiencing (in the US) the largest cost burdens ever seen for renters source: https://www.jchs.harvard.edu/sites/default/files/reports/fil...

* There have been many reports of large lay offs in not just the tech sectors.

* Most of our current employment numbers are politically motivated lies or exaggerations

* AI has pushed a 6% increase requirement on development productivity

* There are vastly more boot camps and junior and mid level developers available in the market.

* Remote work make the market global when it was still very local for many.

I feel like there are many more bullet points to add.

If you don't think people who are physically fit as a requirement to do their job can't think on their own, Well I got news for you once you assume people who generally sit all day and think can inherently have the physical requirement to do manual labor. Most programmers could not probably finish a real days labor job on their feet for 8 hours. They got a standing desk just to try 6 most of the time.

Go work a week as a landscaper and then let's talk about programmer salaries. Anyone sitting on their ass making over 100k a year is overpaid IMO. Unless you are curing caner lets be honest you are just making the next fart app and no you don't deserve more money than people breaking their back to make your garden look nice.

Maybe authenticity was not the right choice of works. I meant to say the authentic thing that is the company's business logic. IE the point of the website/application or the product is the data. Which for programmers that should also be a common thread.which is why its good to really define your data model first if you can.

Well its just one demographic first. There are a large portion of renters who pay more than 1/2 their income.

But why is it such an important value? I'm not sure personally but I can say for the most part many people don't qualify to rent a given location in the first place unless their income to rent price is equal or more than 1/3 their income.

So another way to put it, about half of all renter now don't technically qualify since to rent their current location given they will likely need to pay more than 1/3 their income.

Given its a wasm app running client side completely from static assets, I'm not worried at all. Do you know of any risk in terms of attack vectors? I guess maybe someone could exploit the client by some other means and then take advantage of the export in some manner the could end up getting the client to download an "image" with embed script. That's also just conjecture I have no clue.

well if it was working for you, you would have see a color swatch of unique colors. Given this is running in wasm via a rust app I'm not sure about browser compatibility. Give it a try on maybe a desktop? or possibility try again as I pushed a bug just two moments ago and maybe thats why. Github.io takes a moment to update

Edit: I tried on my phone via firefox and it worked so maybe try again.

I'm going to revitalize my local tech meetups by revitalize our local restaurants and by focusing on inclusiveness and community and not by hyper specialized topics and presentations.

I'm gonna make tech meetups fun again by going back to my community roots.

I invite you to do the same. This is literally day 1 and everything is still very much a work in process but I think the idea is sound.

I hope to build the site in a way that enables other. communities to do the same.

My career in house started at around 2011. I did only contracting before that starting at around 2004. I used to hate contract work because at the time I was very new and was heavily invested in academics. I really just wanted to work in a team environment. I had a strong desire to work directly with my peers so that I could learn the trade. After I got my first real in house job I loved it for about the first 5 years. Then I kept growing in my career and moving to larger companies where "scrum master" was a title. I hated everything about programming from there on because the job became about constantly trying to measure something useless while also doing it differently every new try...

As of last 3 months I have completely stop working in tech. I will only ever come back to tech as a contractor. I'm rebuilding my personal site to go as a consultant and contractor only from here on. I'm literally pulling down my resume today so that I stop getting harassed by these stupid recruiter Indian call centers.

I will never willing work in a corporate hell scrape again and if I choose to it will be on my terms.

I honestly think if this blog post resonated with you, you should just go work for yourself. It's far more rewarding even if its harder work to be your own boss. Good riddance to complacency and incompetence!
