Thanks for the feedback!

Both your requests are on the to-do list but require some help from the Clicky team unfortunately. I could do multiple API calls for each site but it would be good to do one call and get back the data I need...

With regards to notifications, I could actually look at doing that now, assuming users were willing to part with their API key to a hop notification server. Something also the clicky guys may do anyway that we can tag along to.

I developed ClickyTouch, and would love some user feedback from anyone (a)using Clicky Analytics, and (b) their experience with ClickyTouch and what gaps are missing. Really keen to improve

Really like the idea. It's kind of like the 37Signals stuff, although a bit less formal, and more about social groups. Could be interested for running projects though.. will try it.

I've also updated the final sentence to "could be happening", that is what I meant and should have been more careful.

[dead] 16 years ago

The point of the article is in hope that Apple or whomever are looking beyond stats and material stuff such as "they have a swimming pool", and seeing if there is a more underlying reason for it.

There may not be, which is fine. I'm simply questioning that they should be if they're not. Right now there is no evidence that they are other than they are looking at it. At what we don't know.

If that deserves deletion, so be it.

[dead] 16 years ago

Yeah I get what you mean... that wasn't my intention with the argument though. Maybe some clarification needed.

[dead] 16 years ago

The article is questions, not statements.

If this happens it'll be a massive shift for Apple. It ultimately means less Macs will be purchased for development purposes, whereas right now, that HAS to happen.

It does make sense though... more developers = more apps = more revenue.

Who knows.. maybe they'll also have OS X app development in there too :-P

"There are over 100,000 applications leveraging the Twitter API"

That's probably evidence enough that investing in developing for Twitter is kinda fruitless. There's just too much crud out there.

This coming from a Twitter iPhone app and web developer. Likely adding to the crud...

Why does Zuckerberg make this announcement, which ultimately affects all of his 400 million customer base, in a buried article for the Washington Post?

Surely it's best to communicate with your customers directly, y'know, with a Facebook message or something?

Looking at blog.facebook.com right now, there is no sign of this, nothing officially on facebook.com. This is why people don't trust Facebook.

sure, the initial sync, like an initial time machine backup, would take an age to sync wirelessly...

I'm thinking post that though, walking into my network and syncing latest updates, even without my prompting

Any type of wireless syncing is good for me, whether that's with the cloud, or with a Mac/PC on my wireless network.

USB syncing is sooo 20th Century
