Some cycling water bottles already do that kind of thing:

The Purist WaterGate Bottle features an amorphous silicon dioxide coating that's infused into the inner-wall of the bottle. Essentially, this forms a glass-like finish that provides a totally natural, and completely inert, solution to the problem of your drinks staining the bottle or leaving behind any residual aftertaste. This infusion also shields your fresh water from tasting like plastic on very hot days, making it akin to drinking straight from a sparkling clean glass.

It's not perfect in practice though (I find that the bottles can still absorb flavors of sports drinks, especially if you forget to wash them immediately after a ride). But they definitely don't have the plastic taste and smell of other bottles.

You can as an individual. And people do that, it's sometimes refered to as alcotourism, when you cross the border to buy cheaper alcohol in the neighbouring country. Finns go to Estonia. Estonians go to Latvia. But as a company, you can't just import cigarettes or alcohol from another country and sell them at home. Cigarettes and alcohol have specific tax stamps on their packaging that make them restricted for sale in a specific country. People still do that, but at that point it's the black market.

You need a team that wants to use Clojure. I wrote Clojure professionally for 2 years, and everyone at the company was excited about it and sold on the language. Even after 3-5 years of programming in it. Now, at a different place, we write in a different language, and even though I still love Clojure, I'm not gonna write some project in it, even if Clojure might suit it so well, because I know these people are sold on different language, and I'm not going to preach and I'm not going to make their lives more difficult by having to maintain some obscure codebase.

Mushrooms is one of the easiest drugs to procure.

Some species like Psilocybe semilanceata grow in the wild, both in Europe and North America. You can just pick them if you know the type of habbitats to look for.

You can buy grow kits semi-legally (grey area, might vary on where you live) and you don't need any extra equipment. You get a plastic box and you literally just add water.

If you want to save money, you can buy only the spores. Then you just need some substrate which you can buy either at garden supply store or at a supermarket. Biggest issue is ensuring sterility, so a pressure cooker is recommended, but there are ways around that.

I'd say it's easier to grow shrooms at home than it is to make alcohol. You don't need any specific equiment like a still for distilled drinks, and you don't need any trial and error like you do when making fermented drinks. I know you could make alcohol without any equipment, but the end result will probably be quite poor. Meanwhile the shrooms grown without any equipment will be the same as any.

It's not just for coffee though. You could use it as one would use milk e.g. add it to your bowl of cereal, hot chocolate, milkshake etc. and consume a larger amount in total.

I don’t quite see the benefits of Clojure’s dynamic binding over with-redefs for tests as demonstrated here. Personally I have only used Clojure’s dynamic binding very rarely, mostly in production scenarios to override some default value from a library and not for test cases.

I didn't, and when I tried it out, it wasn't working for me, so I looked it up and apparently others have had the same issue. [0] The Shortcut was set to cmd+` in system preferences, but it didn't do anything. Manually entering cmd+` as the shortcut fixed it.

To me the most noticeable problem is dry eyes, which makes me feel like I'm exhausted and falling asleep, even if I've had a good night's sleep. Before we got humidifiers it started the minute I walked into the office.

Also occasional nosebleeds.

Go is pretty much the only widely used CSP implementation in existence.

Clojure’s core.async is another arguably widely used implementation (it pays my bills).

DinSync RE-303 is probably the most impressive. As they say "it's not a clone it's a replica". They painstakingly traced the PCB, used as much original parts as possible, and you can use the original TB-303 CPU to control it (or you can get the RE-303 CPU with their own firmware since the original is proprietary and long since out of production). Meaning you can use the project to revive a real 303 if you have to, or build your own legit 303.

I'd say either Berlin school or kosmische musik is a better name than krautrock, if only cause it's more specific. Though it's all under the krautrock umbrella anyway. At least I usually see Berlin school as the descriptor for that kind of synth music.

I don't know, the number of hoops you need to jump through to use a trendy data science tool like Hadoop, Spark etc. is way bigger than that of a simple Java program. From my (limited) experience I'd say they the data science (or big data) way is the bloated and convoluted one.
