To switch an LLM you just need to open another browser tab and type in your chat query. You cannot say the same for any other kind of software. Traditional software have a large switching cost which acts as a barrier.

LLM providers are like airlines. You only need when you have travel and most of the time you go for the cheapest one. Maybe LLM providers should start providing reward points :) .

What that means is in 1965 one income was able to sustain a household but now we need two incomes. There is no dedicated support for kids now so fathers have to give up time and mothers have to exchange child-mother bonding time from kids to the company.

The real benefiter of this is the capitalist who can now have twice the workforce at the price of one.

How about we start paying market price to the parent who takes care of the kids irrespective of mothers or fathers ? Investing in next generation is way more important than making useless widgets faster.

The meditation I practice is based on non-duality techniques. Mind needs a problem to solve so ask the question "Where am I ?". Anything that you can see both physically and mentally is not you. You are not the table, the chair, your hands, your legs, your face, your sensations, your feeling, your thoughts, your emotions. Neti-Neti (not this, not this).

You are something beyond all this. Try find it.

By going through the mind goes in a trance unable to think any thoughts. I find it better approach compared to try to disciplining the mind.

Humans have the advantange of millions of year of training baked in their genes. There is nothing magical about being a human. Once algorithms have ability to collect data from real world(robotics), ability to do experiments in real world and ability to mimic nature all these advantages will fall away.

The rate of change is accelerating. I worry we don't have much time left unless we get serious about merging with machines.

Its is corporate fiefdom. Everybody trying to one up other executives to show impact instead of working together towards a unified goal. The bigger the company the more we see this phenomena. Nobody gets promotion if you just used existing internal service.

I don’t think it is about resources. Growing up in 3rd world country I have zero resources. It is the drive of student and higher standards from parents and teachers that matters. Everybody is just getting soft.

Somebody should create a AI interviewer for VC funding. VCs are swamped with so many funding requests. All the founders should first convince AI why they need funding.

I don't think you will ever talk to a user if you work in a big company. There are so many layers of abstraction.

I would argue that Google is even better place for advertising. All they need to do is enable advertising in Gemini. There is a whole ecosystem already in place for Google advertising.

AI coding agents (e.g. Cursor) should offer this as an alternative to Claude Code. Alloyed agents is something that AI wrappers can offer as a counter to Codex/Claude Code/Google Agent.

You should have asked it to to write a python program that does the task. LLMs are really bad in these kind of task but you can just ask it to write a program.

After using Claude Code I am convinced that future is no IDE. Claude Code runs on your terminal and has access to all terminal tooling. It can even write short scripts for future repetitive tasks. I even use it for running shell commands where I don't remember the exact command.
