From what I can see in their readme, this is basically a key remapping utility without any of the advanced macro functionality that Input Remapper has.

For example, I can create a macro in Input Remapper that is bound to the F12 key and will press keys 1, 2, and 3 in order at a certain rate and repeat for as long as I hold down that F12 key.

This utility would just allow me to remap a key to another without that repeat or timing functionality.

Perl is a great scripting language to stitch together high performance C binaries. Not to mention that CPAN and the built in debugger are awesome.

Write it in Perl to deploy quickly and replace pieces with optimized binaries as needed.

It’s still used for new projects in far more places than a lot of people might realize.

Defender Chronicles, ChainRxn, Zombie Wars 2, etc.

Maybe even all the games I purchased before they were updated to include all the IAP’s.

I am so looking forward to the possibilities.

I just want you to know that through rabbit holing 'traditional ex/vi source', the following happened...

1) Read a Wikipedia page for vi.

2) Noticed that Bill Joy used a Lear Siegler ADM-3A terminal.

3) Discovered that Lear Siegler was the result of a merger between Siegler Corporation and Lear, Inc.

4) I know that Lear, Inc. was founded by William 'Bill' Lear.

So, not only do we have Bill Lear to thank in a way for vi, but your username is oddly familiar...
