It's worth pointing out that no one ever finishes (ascends) a game of Nethack without looking at the spoilers, so they're really not spoilers, they're more like the instruction manual.

It is definitely more fun to try playing the game for several hours without reading the spoilers, but you're not going to figure out stuff like the Invocation Ritual without reading the spoilers.

They should obviously be obliged to make it possible. It's sad that Apple isn't treated as harshly as Microsoft by the internet community and regulators.

Both deserve to be criticized for the same unethical practices. Android phone manufacturers may be the worst offenders of all.

Spotify is not the one reasonable way of paying for music.

Purchasing drm-free downloads, physical CDs, cassettes, and vinyl are the reasonable ways.

There is zero discussion of accountability for the cops in any of these situations. If they are so easily tricked, they need to either scale back the militarized force they are allowing to be abused, or become more skeptical about these threats.

For fellow non-flash-users, this seems to work ok with the get-flash-videos package.

One positive side effect of regulation is that overt racial discrimination is illegal.

Black and Jewish folks used to have a hell of a time getting a hotel room in the US at various points in history. That became illegal with the 1960s civil rights laws, but recent media coverage suggests discrimination is rampant on Airbnb.

It also used to be nearly impossible to find wheelchair-accessible hotels.

I have no idea what the solution is here, but there are good things about regulation of these kinds of businesses.
