Any used Akai device. Depending on how old I would say get them the new standalone device called the mpc one+. If the price is too steep look for a used midi device from Akai.

Honesty, a used cell phone would make a better pocket operator.

To me it seems like it's impossible because they can't reorder bing search results or mixed them with other results. Or by their own admission because Google doesn't have a search API anymore. Unless I'm misreading. It's basically "Bing or Google wont allow us to use their products how we want to." And "It will take us over 20 years and lots of money to gain market share."

I'm paraphrasing here of course. But it doesn't seem impossible. I mean I don't think it's easy either. I also want to add that I don't want to live in a world with only one search engine.

This is awesome! I used to have sega channel as a kid. I never had a game console and a Sega is the only one my mom ever bought us. We were fortunate enough to have cable TV from TCI cable and they had Sega channel. Every month we'd get new games and eventually they changed it to 2 weeks.

It begs the question from a noob like me... Where should they host the status page? Surely it shouldn't be on the same infra that it's supposed to be monitoring. Am I correct in thinking that?

It's only confusing if one is ignorant about pronouns. It's not hard in practice.

Person 1: Where is emy?

Person 2: Oh she, is over there. Points

Person 3: hey person 1, emy doesn't refer to herself as she..

Person 2: oh I'm sorry. I had no idea about Emy and their pronouns...Hey person 1, Emy is right over there.

I find it easier if you refer to people by their names (preferred or otherwise) and just default to gender neutral terms like "they/them". Because it not a hard thing to do.

I've had one since before the military adopted it. I've been carrying it for years daily. It has never once went off on its own. I run with it, jump with it, have carried it in a small cross body bag. It has never just fired by itself. I have over 5k rounds through it.

The only time my gun has went off was when I pulled the trigger. Has your gun ever went off without pulling the trigger?

Most of the videos I see on YouTube are people who were fiddling with the gun, in some kind of physical altercation, or carry some sort of back on the side they carry. I didn't get the fix from Sig either.

It's called the Kebab menu now. I'm a fan of chicken.

Seriously though, I know I'm getting old. But I feel like it's younger designers that didn't grow up using old interfaces. I don't like the switch to this new paradigm where every app has to recreate the wheel with their UX.
