we at agentsea.com have been playing with it for a while.

here's what we think about it:

- still sucks at generating pretty ui - great for creative writing and long-form planning - it’s really fast but not smarter than gpt-5 - pairs well with external tools/agents for research and automation - comes with a 1m token context window, so you can feed it monstrous codebases or giant docs - still hallucinates or stumbles on complex requests

it allows anyone to build their own GPTs without writing a single line of code. unlike openai's custom GPTs, we support multiple models like deepseek, llama, openai, claude etc

Our goal is to help people launch their own AI business. OpenAI's Custom GPTs never took off because they didn’t allow monetization, so people never shared their GPTs.

We're planning to launch a marketplace where people can list their GPTs, and others can try them out

we're targeting

1) Consultants/ Experts

These are individuals with specialized knowledge (fitness, health, investing, marketing, tax, etc.) who want to monetize their expertise through an AI tool.

Experts like Bryan Johnson, Nikita Bier, and professionals who sell advice on Intro.co, topmate.io

Service providers such as real estate agents, lawyers, tax agent, travel agent, fitness trainers, etc.

- Real estate agents can create an AI assistant for property recommendations.

- Personal trainers can build a custom AI workout assistants.

2) Course Creators

Many course creators and educators want to turn their course into recurring AI business

Example Use Case: A PM expert like Lenny can create an assistant that answers questions related to product management. he used to teach on maven

3) Indie hackers and No-code builders

they want to test ideas without high upfront investment.

4) businesses looking for custom solutions

they can create website support bot, company knowledge base bot etc

I'm working on Build That Idea - https://buildthatidea.com - A platform that allows anyone to create custom GPTs in 60 seconds and monetize them

Here's how it works:

- Define your GPT

- Choose a base LLM (OpenAI, Claude, DeepSeek, etc.)

- Upload knowledge base

- Set pricing and start making money

I’d love to hear what the HN community thinks!

Metaschool | Engineering Lead | Remote | Full-time

We're a well-funded startup (funded by sequoia, dcg etc) building a platform that lets anyone launch their own agents. The opportunity is huge and to build a platform that makes it easy for anyone to launch autonomous agents with a simple user friendly interface is a big undertaking.

This is why we’re looking for an engineering lead who can help us build the platform very quickly from 0 to 1 and in parallel make decision to scale the platform effectively too.

Noticed the same thing. DeepSeek-V3 is remarkable (beats 4o/ claude), but it's not on the front page.

It seems they don't want china to win haha
