On a several occasions (most recently today), Thunderbird has "lost" my mail messages that are in my inbox when I move them to a local folder. Effectively it corrupts the messages - they appear in the local folder as 1 KB messages with no subject or sender info. They are empty messages.

Apple's Mail app has had a virtually identical bug since Catalina; Michael Tsai's article on the issue currently has 636 comments:

After witnessing the bug myself, migrated to Thunderbird with Maildir enabled[1] for long-term storage; have yet to experience the issue despite a large database (>300,000 emails) and daily IMAP import to local folders.

Given their excellent record, it's strange that ElevenLabs would make a basic transcription mistake in the embedded introduction video[1].

At around 30 seconds in[2], an AI agent types and says, "Hi! Welcome to our design studio." to which a customer responds「すみません、日本語で話してもいいですか？」(Sorry, may I speak Japanese?).

The AI agent then says 「もちろんです。日本語に切り替えましょう。」(Of course. Let's switch to Japanese.) but types「ご心配なく。数量は柔軟に対応できます。」which means "No worries. We can be flexible with the quantity."

Rather than downloading an entire video, converting it to audio, then automatically deleting the video, why not download just the audio to begin with (e.g., `yt-dlp -f 140 <URL>`)?

Make thunderbird supports a local database with 100k emails with proper search

Currently working with a Thunderbird database which contains over 300,000 messages and search works quite reliably (once in a blue moon have to switch from "Search Messages..." to "Global Search"), though the emails are stored in Maildir format rather than the default mbox: https://tinyapps.org/blog/202207100700_thunderbird_mbox_to_m... .

Searching for the sister distro you mentioned, this[1] was one of the first links I stumbled upon, which included a link to the ARM ISO[2] and checksum[3] along with this note:
