I think a more interesting experiment would be to train an LLM on a dataset that had zero references to "first person POV" sentences. And then see if the final model somehow develops that concept.

Very cool!
Seems like a way to justify stock valuations of OpenAI while picking up some good talent to go after vertical stack as the foundation models become commodified. Smart play.
If they are Delaware C corporations and you own at least one share, you have a legal right to demand access to the cap table.
Language in humans is a VERY strange behavior. I think the stoned ape theory may have some credence, as mushrooms do seem to excite linguistic capabilities.
It's impossible to enforce a law like this. The real solution is to create personal AI filters for each person that reads all the data for the user, filters out anything that doesn't enrich the user, and hides the rest. A general-purpose AI-enabled spam filter for your entire digital life.
This is because of the way most software is built. If you are using event modeling, it's very easy to estimate feature costs. The only exception is when you are truly innovating new algorithms so there is not a historical precedent you can refer to. This is not common work in the industry however, most software projects are variations of previous themes.
https://github.com/HKUDS/LightRAG is pretty good
I just use MLC with WebGPU: https://codepen.io/mikestaub/pen/WNqpNGg
The problem is that eventually, AI will get so powerful that it will block all ads on the client without anyway of detecting it. Adblockers today are very basic and have no understanding of the mind that is consuming the content. We must adapt and create new business models.
This is a great use-case for WebGPU: https://chat.webllm.ai
Just add a premium tier or partner with coding bootcamps. Don't give up so easily.

Bitcoin is like a virtual Swiss watch, with the base layer being the center wheel and PoW mining being the mainspring. The third wheel is the BIP300 protocol and the fourth wheel is LN and other L2s. The nodes are the balance wheels. https://youtu.be/9_QsCLYs2mY
AI can solve this problem very well I predict. It asks you a series of deep questions about your personality and values and then goes searching for matches for you. No swiping.
I'm just waiting from Proton to stabilize theirs then I'll switch.
The only way this is feasible is if you find a way to code in a DSL and have AI generate all the implementation. A browser is extremely complicated.
I am starting to think Bitcoin is the most important component to the climate crisis. Not only can it mitigate methane via capturing stranded gas at landfills and oil wells via mining pods, but it can replace real estate as a store of wealth. Once investors migrate from real estate to BTC the housing crisis will be ameliorated and we can start building more energy efficient homes in walkable neighborhoods as the prices will come down. It can also help bootstrap remote green energy projects as an energy buyer of last resort and help stabilize the grid through mining curtailment contracts.
And if it is adopted as a global reserve currency, we can escape the fiat debt doom loop that is at the root of our grow at all costs economies.
We keep trying to solve a business model problem with technology and it seems impossible. Until we can find a way to make the end users the customer and not the product, we will always get the same result in the end. I am partial to the Netflix model, where 10% of users pay per month to unlock premium features, and the other users must be invited by the paying users or pay themselves. No free accounts at all.

There is a huge opportunity for a DAO to buy, fractionalize, insure, and create a rent-to-own program. Real estate investors can be disintermediated.
We should pay very close attention to https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nostr as I think the future of app development is letting multiple clients implement their own custom UI layers on top of a shared core.

Microfactories enable more consistent output, fewer defects, and substantial ROI in the final assembly of electronic products. With our game changing Brightware Platform and Brightware Studio software, we make the management of automated assembly lines simple and accessible. Intuitive user interfaces provide line operators and technicians with graphical controls to operate, monitor and make modifications to your Bright Machines Microfactory.
We are doing very interesting robotics perception research and deploying it to production for large enterprise customers.
GRANT stack ( graphql, react, arangodb, node, typescript )
I do this to, but I export all my tabs to a JSON file every week with the SessionBuddy extension. I plan to use this dataset along with my browser history to train an AI that will learn to find and filter useful information for me.
Maybe the future is everyone using TOR, BTC, and ZKproof smart contracts? The first 30 years of the internet have proved us all to be very naive when it comes to the power of state coercion.
This is the best advice I've seen on this website in years!
