I'm trying to use Amplenote for this. I already use it for my notes so bit biased there :-)
I have daily notes and with inline tagging for example "@john doe" it creates a note for John Doe, on the John Doe note page I can add details and view the backlinks when we interacted.
Not sure yet if it's viable long term but so far so good.
On windows I use thebat, not sure it's the best, force of habit :-)
Fastmail is great, untill your wife and kids also need an e-mail account. Then it get's expensive real quick.
We did with apple screentime. It actually worked really well most of the time. On a sidenote, giving youtube / tablet time to a three your old unsupervised is not a good thing. Television or a netflix kids account is somewhat safer but even then.....
We're planning to. Still in the test and architecture phase for now. It would be great to avoid agent overload on systems and vendor lockin, but we'll see what happens.
There are not that many relay servers. I had better luck with using an external SMTP server and adding the SPF and DKIM appropriate records to my dns. Personally I use postmarkapp with credits, but my second choice was SMTP2GO which has a free tier.

I use 1blocker to weed out a lot of stuff. Works great as a barrier. Ultimately it's about the user and not about the tooling.
It depends. RHEL does very nicely in the large corporate environments, at least here in Europe. Red Hat has a large portfolio of applications and great consultancy. The cost may be prohibitive for smaller companies though.
Forget about the company, this boils down to choices. Can you get another job relatively easy within a month, or for as long as you can finance your unemployment?
If the answer is no, you need the job and most likely should take the pay cut.
Whatever your choice will be, it's time to start looking for a new job. The behavior you describe in your employer sounds to me like they don't put value in employees.
At least in the Netherlands, and as far as I know the whole EU you have a right to cancel the same way as you sign up.
My last personal experience was also a dark pattern. Tried cancelling a newspaper, was informed that I was to late for the recurring year subscription, did I want to cancel after this subscription? So I asked about the legal right of to the notice period of a month, and yes sure that was also possible. Would I like to use my credit for another subscription? No I want my money back, oh yeah that's possible.

That's basically extortion. If I applied your logic to a car, my next repair bill would equal a new car.
Hourly is the way to go, just set a minimum charge or an added charge because they want it now. I would suggest a minimum of a workday.
The only thing I can add, life is not a race. Nobody want's to be the first at the finishing line. So encourage them not only to do serious stuff but also fun stuff. And don't take the serious stuff too serious, they will get there in their own time.
https://wooshy.app works actually quite well, although a lot depends on the app. It's useless in Evernote for example.

Very much this, on the end you have an office 365 subscription which has incredible value for money. On the other end are subscriptions like Omnifocus or Noteplan, the price point is too high for the added value (at least for me).

I use anydesk when I can't get them to switch to iPads. The free version has been good enough for quite some time now.

My guess would be that most developed countries see prison not as a revenge but as the start to learn to function in society. America's system is more or less all about revenge.
I have a somewhat different opinion. He found a target, failed to meet SEC regulations with the negotiated deal and took the deal for his main fund. After that he basically threw the towel on the spac. This happened approx a year ago.
Not finding a good deal is understandable, finding a deal and messing it up not so much. With his army of lawyers this looks from the outside more an deliberate strategy then a honest mistake.

We use adobe Lightroom with extra cloud storage. My wife has a nice ui to search and browse the photo's on every device (just login on the same account).
I have a extra copy of the photo's and videos in a dropbox folder for safe keeping. The less accessed the less space that uses.
It works (tm) it does mean I have two subscriptions to pay.
Most ransomware now a days stays hidden for a long time to try to invalidate your backups. I would just restrict access (physical and remote) to the maximum. So the datastore is just that, no other function on the server. Only access through an api or a well understood protocol, think rsync, ftp, whatever. Do the back-up locally to a non writeable directory / disk for non root users.
My wife and me found each other somewhat later then usual, at least over here in the Netherlands. We both suck at the dating game, we went on a vacation to Namibia, it was a group thing and we bonded by the camp fire. No pressure, not intended to date afterwards, no love at first sight. Yet here we are, 15 years later and two children. The situations you describe are pressure situations, relaxing having a good time worked better for me.

I tried purelymail and it's a good service for the money. The only problem I had is that the spam filtering is really bad.
There are several systems all with specific functions.
ProRail the infra manager has all the systems related to safety and long term planning. Think air traffic control to keep it simple.
NS has all the systems for communication with passengers and personnel and train movement (planning). Think airliner.
It has nothing to do with safety it's pure a who is where system.
