Maybe they should just let it go

Could be greatest head fake in military history if Russia trying to convince Ukraine that things are chaotic to lure them into an over confident state.
Find something to take care of or dedicate time teaching someone something they don’t know. Both can be amazing life changing experiences.
Well said
How many of these commenters work at Cloudflare? :)
Ha I was thinking the same
Unless you plan to invest extensive measures to keep rats away, I advise against it. My suburb in Oregon has been dealing with rat problems for several years now bc of poorly managed chicken coops in private residences. New laws likely coming soon.
This is my standard practice - I give a real world data fix script that has been simplified to understand and comment on in 20 minutes. The interviewee is the code reviewer before it gets run in production. It covers things like performance, security, typical syntax mistakes, and working with sensitive data. The best part is actually not the script, but the stories it triggers about past challenges.
I am sure someone already said it but, bus driver / janitor? The age can’t be higher bc they CAN’T AFFORD to retire or leave their jobs. They have been doing it forever and likely depend on more years to solidify a pension.
Peloton and Docusign are two drastically different companies, on very different trajectories. Before the pandemic, the busiest mall in my town had a Peloton pop up store that was a ghost town EVERY time I walked by it (I couldn’t even count the amount of times I went by it). This narrative about “pandemic stocks” just feels like lazy regurgitation without looking in depth. PS Tesla did fine with earnings.
I work on hiring 50% of the week and would love to see resumes like this! :)
An estimate to replacement a house window for me was $3K. I asked if they were hiring and they were - starting hourly rate $35 / hour.
I don’t see anything in the author’s bio about building successful businesses. I don’t mean to slight them, but most of these posts take zero consideration for what it takes to get a business off the ground. Writing every bit of code by hand assumes infinite financial resources and runway. Some points are valid - don’t bloat and shove garbage in when you can take a simpler approach.
Not sure this has anything to do with gender or race. Sounds like a disagreement on facts of a story. Seems like stirring controversy to takeover an important conversation and get clicks. Kind of like Fox News or CNN.
Sadly agreed. And I am a father. However for every child shot, I wish there was a dollar amount we could commit to spending to reach and educate them.
Until they decide to sell it. And tell no one.
Looks like emails are coming from Fitbit - maybe a system issue.. http://imgur.com/a/K6F2t
good question - i believe the email address was Fitbit but will confirm
Congrats to your success. I think it starts with your objectives. Do you have other product ideas you want to get off the ground? Do you want to stop wearing a few hats (like marketing, finance customer service, etc). Where do you see the business in 2,4, and 8 years? I am currently in a great position leading product for a healthcare technology company and I have asked myself the same questions. A hiring plan fell out of that discussion and has so far been very successful.
I am about to do this and am very interested in seeing this, I have a feeling you are very right. :)
bait and switch?
This is awesome. Are there any other projects like this out in the wild?
oh man - I thought this article might just break hacker news the minute I saw the title.
Oil companies like it when dealers sell gas powered cars.
This. Be very careful here. Unless you know how the company's shares are structured AND have a say in all the different discussions about future splits and multi-class offerings don't put your head in the sand.
I am wondering about the safety of the cars if you get hit by another (regular size) vehicle? Will the paramedics have to pull your body chunks out with a giant butter knife?
I think you have not looked at all the signs. Why are all the Chinese exiting the market and trying to get out of the country? This runs deeper then just their stock market.
It is a historical reference. This clearly was not well thought out.
wat.
