True, but having up-to-date technology makes scaling service much, much easier. ADP's problem is their service scales linearly with the number of service reps on staff. That along with horrible communication across departments(this is a tech problem in this day and age), and they suffer because of it. Even if a tech-driven company like ZenPayroll gets the number of customers ADP has, they will have scaled better because (hopefully) their systems are prepared for the traffic from the beginning and they continuously improve them to handle the growth. There's a massive difference between tech-as-an-after-thought companies and the tech-driven startups like Zen.

This certainly isn't a tool I would use very often, but when the need does arise for a cool little animation, it's perfect!
Aside from personal views, I question why Dropbox would make a move like this knowing that there would some backlash at the very minimum. There are other people out there that would make just as good of a board member without the potential that Condi has for stirring up discontent. If they didn't anticipate this or consider the ramifications of adding Condi, then the execs behind the decision need some help.
Seems a lot like http://mixture.io/
Out of curiosity I checked out ecquire's homepage and without watching the video, I had no idea what the product actually was. The supposed 'great headlines and content' are non-existent.
I think the most important thing to remember is that the goal of growth hacking is to get growth and get more users. The 652 Actionable Growth Hacks You Can Do Today! type articles lose sight of that and end up with the goal of growth hacking to growth hack.
What are the dimensions? Although this product isn't intended to make a fashion statement, the elderly may still be averse to carrying/wearing around something rather bulky. Especially if they're having trouble admitting to their fragile state.
SEEKING FREELANCER(S) - Remote/San Francisco/Phoenix
ReadyApps (http://www.readyappsdev.com) is a young, fast-growing dev shop seeking freelance developer(s). At this point, we're looking to establish relationships with talented developers and work together on a project-by-project basis. Assuming our growth continues and the relationship goes well, a full-time position may be possible in the future.
For the most part, we work with a pretty standard Rails stack including Backbone, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis, etc. and often deploy to self-managed servers as well as Heroku. We're looking for front-end, back-end, or full-stack devs, so shoot me an email if you have any interest!

It appears they did!
I still can't see myself ever wearing one of these. It's cool and all and I would love to write some custom apps for it, but its just not there yet aesthetically.
Same thoughts here! I'm not sure starting my own incubator would fill the void, but I can see how joining something like Microha.us might be nice. Anybody know of anything along the same lines in SF?
