Had a good chuckle

At this point I am simply interested in how much longer you're gonna ride this schtick
Of course you'll buy that because "receipts" were only half the story and posting little commentary gives him an edge.
The post claims they were fuzzing their Zig code, while during our calls the whole Bun team told us that they were not fuzzing anything
If you read the post again this sentence is not removed and Sumner did not refute that
Just want to add to the pile that The New York Times is notorious for its unsubscription shenanigan
Or, did the whole Bun team indeed state the otherwise to Zig?
You only need to follow Jarred/Bun's own comments on Twitter/HN to figure things out, where selective info were posted based on some agenda instead of clearing things up, aka communication
Same. After following the drama on HN and Twitter it's pretty clear Jarred has been intentionally doing something that's hurting Zig/Bun community. What I've seen check out with those statements in the post
How bright one can be if they only look at things individually and not the whole system?
What's the future of Grok and Cursor's Composer now that they are both under SpaceX
Cursor: Find me another benchmark where Composer 2.5 is a top 10 frontier coding model
I can see how one’s tendency to preach being associated with their ego
I would also make a distinction between kids’ ‘teaching’ behaviors you describe and the one in Mencius’s quote
OK, but stop trying to make fetch happen.
Nothing more beautiful when game recognizes game.
You mean 2, 10 and 20? Otherwise at the same price I'm going with big 2
If you click "Show Options" it'll show colors of the chords in order: red is C-major for example
The entire RIIR saga , not the fact that it's rewritten in a different language, but how the author selectively choose to let certain information surface without clarification, tells you a lot
Personally not interested in performative/marketing-driven decision so I am done with the project and the author. Quite disappointed
I don't know we can just say things now. Ah we're on the internet
With respect to the creator, Vim9 script is inferior to Lua in terms of adoption, learning curve, stability, features and probably performance. If the purpose is to serve users a new DSL is not really defensible when Neovim has proved Lua works
Is it just me or the bar to publish janestreet blogposts has been lowered recently?
what is the "meeting scheduled on Monday clue"?
good intention but useless let's be real
Some people really can’t operate without stirring unnecessary drama.
What if that’s true and what if that’s not true?
You have a point but I think you might underestimate how much it takes to be a snake like Sam Altman
Not that I have first-hand knowledge but if reports about him are only half true, most tech CEOs are already saints compared to him
There's always reader mode when an author tries to be cute about their layout
So: Squash everything together then pick each component out by squash -i to an empty commit.
Seems straightforward, wouldn’t call it special
Not sure about the story but it would be funny if pi folks actually own this domain.
Bun has had an extremely high amount of crashes/memory bugs
Any stats/source? Not that I think it's false
and the ugly parts look uglier (unsafe) which encourages refactoring.
Looks like Bun owes that to itself to some extent, not solely because of the language
Imaging title it "Bun is being ported from Zig to Rust in an experimental branch" though. Not enough drama with that
