Not related to guitars, but I do a lot of off-roading and the multimedia system is only controlled by the big screen. In bumpy roads it's a trial and error operation to skip a song. Give me my previous/next physical buttons back.

Every time I read this type of post I get amazed at how primitive my use of personal email is.

No folders, no tags, no rules. Just inbox and read status.

Ditched gmail for iCloud a few years ago. Simple, cheap, well integrated.

Look from the other side as well. I doubt such transaction moves the needle enough in Oracle’s performance to mean anything to the pension fund’s investment. However, it’s almost an asset for the fund to be able to pursuit such lawsuit.

Yeah, unless the extension is used by a significant portion of the users, this a probably pushing numbers up a bit for networks.

No. Different strategy.

I worked with a company in the past that abused the twitter api to an unimaginable level from a single IP address.

That was a few years ago but at the time I’m pretty sure their blacklisting was between inexistent and pathetic.

Setup heroku in <1 hour for <$100/month, forget about hosting and go build your product.

Agreed. Apple respecting user privacy at some level is a big decision factor for me lately.

I agree it’s hard to really stop being tracked but I’ve been trying to become less of an easy target lately. Stopped using gmail as my main email and made duckduckgo my default search engine. Plus the traditional browser extensions.

Far from perfect? Yes. But at least I take some confort from no longer being such a juicy ad target.

This. Webpacker enormously improved the JS experience with Rails.

Depending on what you’re activating via the pedal, the timing is very important (e.g. starting/stopping a loop). Voice wouldn’t be a good fit in that case.
