You can update Win 10 to Win 11 IoT version for unsupported devices, by using something like massgrave

the most fair distribution for limited sought-after resources that are inconsequential (like domain names) are raffles. let people apply in a 4-week window and then randomly assign it to one of the applicants.

then don't allow reselling, just allow giving it back and do a raffle again

MacBooks have the best value/money ratio at the moment. The combination of battery life, processing power and touch pad UX are unmatched

At this point I think that would be a more sane outcome than whatever it is we have right now.

For me personally I found Zigs AI stance and the artisanal mindset very attractive.

So much so that I am at the moment doing the ziglings exercises and learning it over Rust (which I gave up on some time in the past, because it didn't spark "joy" for me; so far Zig does).

Sure, for now it is just a hobby programming lang to me, but it might become more than that.

I think this is a very sane stack.

Will probably become a hassle when going planet-scale (tm), but I think for most use cases this should be fine.

Google also chooses to be a US company even thought the US is supporting a genocide and is doing an illegal war against a foreign country (again)

You could argue Signal is the most "moral" here, but even then they don't really allow self-hosted backends and refuse to open-source their setup

For people on the spectrum masking is basically roleplaying a "normal" person, by learning behavior that is associated with not being singled out as a weirdo.

This takes a lot of processing power and constant vigilance in order to not drop the mask which is quite exhausting.

Here is one study looking at the connection between neurodiversity and substance use: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3965675/

For me it is social anxiety / being on edge around more than 4-5 people (apply from 1 person upwards if they are strangers) and having sensory overload because it is a bar / pub / whatever.

A lifetime of masking leaves its mark on a nervous system, i.e.

And alcohol down regulates / takes the edge off

You might look into neurodiversity / trauma in your life (if you haven't done so already)

In many contexts "already tried" does not apply under "this and this conditions" though.

You can try the same thing under different contexts and it will probably yield different results (at least in any context that is organizational / social)

The EU is a horribly intransparent and dubiously democratic institution.

As a normal citizen you have no real possibility to hold MEPs accountable other then writing an angry E-Mail.

In an actually democratic system politicians would be in their position only by mercy of the people and can be voted down from their position anytime if enough people petition for it. (and not just maybe be called back when elections at home plummet)

Politicians should be afraid of the people and not the other way round.
