SEEKING FREELANCER | Developer(s) | Remote

In the next weeks I will need assistance from one, or more, freelance developers with skills in HTML/CSS/JS, WordPress and/or Magento.

If you are available; please drop me an email at mail at magnusforsberg dot com with your experience and preferred rate

I have thought about this too living in Sweden where I as an employee had 25 days of vacation a year and how to bring that in to my freelancing.

As I see it; impossible. You can charge an extra in time or money to make up for it, but when you go on vacation as a freelancer you do not have anyone running the office.

When I got a lot of CV requests from recruiters I took a similar yet much more childish approach to your mail.

I created a PDF with my name, email and a link to my linkedin-profile. That way I could see if they had a look at my profile, most did and I actually got some good laughs and a couple of interviews with it.

SEEKING FREELANCER / CO-FOUNDER - Stockholm, Sweden / Remote

I am working on a self-funded project, call it a start-up. My progress with Python is unfortunately not going to result in a MVP anytime soon; and that is why I am open to team up with a full-stack developer that can be in charge of the development; as a freelancer or co-founder.

Contact mail at magnusforsberg.com for more information.

I really like the sources and amount of content you picked out. Good choice of a domain as well.

But like sangupta and amirf I think you should improve the UI a bit; maybe have a go with twitter's bootstrap?

One thing I really would like is that you skip the two columns and narrowed it down do one column and worked a bit on the navigation so that it's on one line or grouped in some shape or form.

You could try to apply your current learning pattern first; read books on color theory to get going. Another thing that could be fun for you just to get going is to re-design services you like and try to improve them, in your eyes.

Do you know HTML5? 14 years ago

How to answer this question has made me argh as well. My answer is entirely based on how I judge the person asking. if it is a recruiter of some sort; "Yes". If it is someone who I guess is a bit more familiar with HTML5 level I would ask them to be more specific.

"Are brands basically a way to let people be lazy by outsourcing their thinking?"

I think not. Brands as I see them are much about experience and expectations. Myself; I am loyal to a handful of brands. Call me a Nike AF1 sneakerhead or a apple fanboy. But what it comes down to for me is the experience that these brands deliver; and I know what to expect from them.

With that said I believe that brands are built over time on customer interaction and the value provided.

Working good on my Chrome, OS X. And I think it's a great project, will check out the github. A suggestion would be to change the play-icon to pause and add some kind of progress bar to it when a song is playing?
