What this misses is that Creative Cloud is much more than a bundle of apps. It includes everything you need around the apps for pro workflows (i.e. fonts, AI, stock, collaboration, etc...).

No, Lightroom is a dedicated photo editor and DAM.

Pixelmator is closer to Photoshop, you can do some photo editing, but its not focused on it, and does not have asset management.

Yes. I think Generative Remove is a perfect example of a use of ai that augments the user. It of course possible to remove items in the past, but now it is much quick / easier.

There are still gaps sometime with quality and control, but both of those are improving at a rapid pace.

MOGRT support will be in the uxp 1.0 release. I dont have a specific date to share with you, but around end of summer time frame (subject to change). Will probably be in the beta builds before that, so I would keep an eye out over the next couple of weeks.

Transcriptions are not planned to be in the 1.0 (we are focusing on parity with CEP initially).

Yeah, I really like UXP in general, but to your point, it requires that the App expose the APIs. Premiere Pro support is just in beta, so its pretty basic right now.

For what its worth though, they have been open to the feedback and prioritizing requests for this use case when Ive shared with them.

It has been really interesting playing with this, seeing how well the agents can control the apps, and understand what they should do. Ive been particularly surprised by how "creative" the agents can be, both in solving how to accomplish tasks, but also in seemingly creative choices in what they do. Really excited (and scared) about this space.

I grew up going through a gifted program (in the 80s) and it was the gifted program that was the subculture i fell into that really pushed me.

Before that I was isolated and flunking out. Maybe I would eventually have found my people, but at least for me the gifted program found me, and got me on the right path at an early enough age to matter.

The audience is creative community members who use Adobe tools and are attending max (around 11,000 for this event).

This is Adobe Max, which is a huge event held by Adobe for creators.

This session is "Sneaks" which is held every year, and has a fun, casual atmosphere. i.e. it has a theme, has a celebrity co-host, lots of jokes, food and drink served, etc...

Its basically a bunch of people who are creative, and are having fun nerding out on the tech...

Its a lot of fun.

This brings back so many memories. When I was in graduate school in the mid 90s (economics and European politics), it was difficult to get detailed, daily news in English on Eastern Europe. Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) was one of the best resources, with a daily email with an overview of news from the region.

I would print this out every single day on an old dot matrix printer so I could then take it to the library where I would read it with everything else.

I have been seriously considering picking up one of these for a dedicate e-reader device just for The Economist (using a custom version of the Economist I create every week), mostly for around my house.

The main thing holding me back is still needing to carry two devices when im mobile, and of course, investing in hardware for a single publication.

I really prefer reading on e-ink, I like the form factor of this, and the performance seems decent for reading.

I know that a lot of people on here read The Economist, so I wanted to share a project I have put together that improves the experience for reading and listening to it.
