Is the complaint about inadequate accommodations enough to withhold rent?
I think what I'm really getting at is, if he is _still_ a tenant without paying rent. When does a tenant become a squatter?
I'm clear on that certain rights kick in at 30d, I am just a little hazy that a right is to stay without paying for it.
Could someone explain why he is still considered a tenant even though he pays no rent or utilities at the property? I am curious as to why he can't just be considered a trespasser and removed by police.
I USPS 2-day Priority'd a gift on Dec. 17 that hasn't had tracking updated since the 18th. It's most certainly not been delivered.
Pretty sure all the physical mail carriers were clobbered this year and we're just at the tip of the iceberg of understanding why they were disorganized/unprepared/whatever.

Interesting to consider, though not discussed much in the article: quality of practice is paramount. Thoughtful and deliberate generates incremental progress. One mantra tossed around of late is "_perfect_ practice makes perfect," meaning not to never make mistakes, but to be conscious and analytical when you do.

I was assuming by "decent music venues" the OP was more referring to a rock/jazz/alt type scene, because of the "war on fun" reference. I get that they're not mutually exclusive terms, but I would put symphony/opera in different categories than, say, a blues club. Sorry. I'm a conservatory-trained professional classical musician, and I'd say that most of my peers would read this the same way.
I also see that this has been commented about above, and it's true that Chicago's symphony is equally outstanding. My point was that SF _does_ have a "noteworthy" and "excellent" performing arts scene, found, for example, in its excellent opera and symphony seasons. Michael Tilson Thomas, additionally, is a "noteworthy" and "excellent" conductor.
The OP is just completely wrong about performing arts. The SF Opera and Symphony are absolutely two of the best in the country and competitive on a global scale.
