Thanks! At the moment it does the conversion for the total price and the price minus Upwork fees but due to the complexity of understanding different tax codes it doesn't do any of that. There will be some unknown banking fees in the transfer which we also don't take account of for now.

I thought it sounded really expensive. My annual AMEX travel insurance is £31 a year, however it does have a max trip length of 90 days so wouldn't be suitable for "Digital Nomading".

A London startup, Rentify, were trying to replace every photo returned by the Tinder API over their network with their CEO's face when they discovered a secret value showing the success rate of a user's photo. Full marks for fun office hack originality. 0 marks for Tinder for not using https for their photos.
A friend of mine also discovered Tinder was returning dates of birth to calculate age client side, so was able to predict other user's star signs: https://medium.com/haralds-notebook/tinder-should-probably-f... It proved fairly effective at getting a reply, as you might imagine. Thankfully he had the decency to explain how he guessed.

Possibly not one that can be run by one person but will add this here anyway. Been running this for the last few years, funded and self-funded, full-time and part-time and as a side project. Whilst popular with the users we have and with sounds uploaded from all over the world it never took off in the way we'd hoped and now I'm unfortunately considering shutting it down to move onto pastures new. Though I have been thinking if anyone would want the IP or the platform we've built for another purpose.

Monthly active users - Varies but around 600-1000 for our iOS and Windows Apps and ~150 downloads per day on Android. Figures have dwindled since I stopped working on the app for obvious reasons. 4. Source of revenue streams - We were planning on implementing sponsored foundbites but just didn't have the audience. 5. Monthly income (if any ) £0 - current cost to run is ~£150 per month. 6. Adsense enabled? Nope, but something we were considering.

I'm the founder of Foundbite, we're a two person team working out of London building an app that revolves around capturing, sharing and exploring sound!
There are tonnes of photo and video apps, but very few for the sounds we hear around us every day even though they play a big part of the atmosphere and feeling of a place or experience.
As well as having the normal feed, profile and following Foundbite also has an interactive soundscape/ map of the world that allows you to find a place you're interested in and listen to the sounds that have been recorded there.
People have been using Foundbite to capture the sounds of nature, sports events and music. Great explanation. Probably wasn't a great idea to trust a company that started as a trading card exchange (Magic The Gathering Online eXchange - Mt. Gox) with such large amounts of money.
