Not minority. I love this stuff too, I can find project links I saved years ago by searching my own history. I like Timeline on Google maps and seeing where I've been. Check out the movie The Circle.

I use a calendar pretty heavily to stay on task. I automatically accepted meeting invites because my job was so boring going to meetings was probably the only good part. My managers found out I accepted them automatically and told me to turn it off. Instead of turning it off I put a 5 minute delay on the invite receipt. I was laid off for "attitude problems".

Dang, this guy would understand my argument for what IS tested in science versus what people WANT to test with science. There is a huge gap especially in medical PRACTICE and drug DEVELOPMENT. I.e. What IS practiced versus what could be practiced if we (the participants) were safe and capable of developing. I.e. Often we try to prove something is correct and overlook proving something is incorrect.

I think someone was doing this to us earlier. What happens when someone can tell you are following them? Would it just be easier to ask someone to tour you around?

But in order for something to be salable, lots of people have to like it. If you are always on the leading edge you might be more in to research than business. There might even be grants available to help fund it. There are research laboratories that build things and then those inventions are used for entirety different purposes. The example I was given were the airport scanners could have been used in malls for fashion instead.

This makes me wonder, do garbage collectors properly garbage collect themselves?

I'd have to agree with davelnewton, people throw around the word entitlement WAY too often.

I've had this problem so many times. I'm so sorry. Build what the want visually, and then show them a better alternative after. Helps if you can separate the visual from the technical so you don't have to rewrite the backend when the front end changes.

We need to start suing over anti-competitive behavior. This is getting ridiculous. The UN says internet is a human right. When I agree to pay $30/month and suddenly my bill switches to $90, that is wrong.
