It’s honestly a win-win. You’re getting paid to get better. It’s on their dime and not yours. The inverse of the situation is that you’re expected to churn out shitty code and it’s never fast enough. Thing break constantly and you never learn how to craft quality code. I’m in the same boat where I’m expecting the PR process to be rigorous. And at the end of the day I can tell the difference between the correct and elegant solution and what’s halved assed but gets it done. At the end of the day I want to be a craftsman where the art of the craft is clean correct software solution. You’re lucky to be in a position where code quality trumps all.

I guess we are all dumb fucks for following the rules. Life's lesson is to be fake and fuck over your friends for their money. At this rate I rather be illegal, but ethical at least. Our laws tell us that as long as we follow the rules set by "unethical and legal" people like dumb fucks everything will be ok all the while paying ~40% income tax. Just sit down and shut up and be on fb and enjoy your life. No wonder Eduardo left the country.

Just to clarify this is not my brother. I met Spencer and we have something in common through programming. I simply copied and pasted his last words.

I've been using Pandora since before they went public and just love the service. Prefer the old Flash version better than the current one but it is good none-the-less. I noticed Spotify on Facebook and became interested in trying it. Evidently I knew very little about Spotify because I thought it was a web app. Long story short never did try Spotify because I didn't want to download client on every machine that I work on. Pandora is still the best solution to the 1 playlist anywhere problem for me.

I never used Buzz. It just confused me when I saw the Buzz icon like when the 'mark as important icon' was new in Gmail. Maybe it would have worked if people can use the chat box to share content and do their status update. And then the feed can all paginate in one or more email maybe right above the first email in the inbox. People are all used to chat and checking their mail, maybe even naturally 'Buzz'. Don't really know too much about uber bar.

I'm a big fan of all Google products in general. People who understand the product anticipates it and are excited about it, like Google Wave for example. But sometimes it's less about the product than the way it is presented. Waves for example was presented as the end-all, stand alone collaborative tool. But when nobody understood it enough to use it the general public doesn't care about it. In the case of Google+ it is presented as a Facebook competitor in the social networking market. Everyone and their moms are already on Facebook so why would people want to update another profile and do more work. However, the advantage of Google+ is that it is backed by the Google infrastructure, which includes the established Gmail user base. Gmail already feels like a social networking product; you can easily chat with friends and new acquaintances, share events with other with Google Calendars, and use tons of Google Apps. The point is Google already is a social network. We don't need to be confused with a new product called Google+. It's social networking features should have just been revealed as a subset of Gmail. Many are already familiar with Gmail and new social networking features will draw more people to it.
