It gets way harder if you travel a lot. To get some delivered within EU should be fairly easy there are plenty of individuals doing cargo delivery business with insanely low prices but if you in asia or africa you out of options...
It's all lovely and shit, but once you hook up on Club Mate and leave Germany you feel quite damned. I feel the same about Savanna Dry (South African Sider) but in recent years they expanded the market quite dramatically hope germans will do the same :)
HTTPS sounds great and st but HTTPS won't help you if you dumb enough to execute shell commands as a root on your server based on unfiltered user form inputs... Unfortunately, I noticed that lots of 'idea guys' trust the dev they hire first even if they have absolutely no skills whatsoever. lOOOl
It's not really a problem in Lithuanian, but rather in the mindset of poorly educated/older generation people there. Being Lithuanian I never received a single word of encouragement from my friends or family, but rather was threatened that starting business will lead me to poverty or I would simply fail. Luckily, I spend quite a lot of time abroad (mostly SE Asia) and seen how random local village person would start his burger stall, if that fails try cooking some fried rice and even if that fails bringing money home try selling noodles or whatever else. I mean those guys would never give up and that's sort of mindset that let's you have a better life.
Personally I try not to spend to much time back home even I'm officially running business there, I much rather stay in Mauritius as I do now, or go back to SE Asia. Being around enthusiastic and happy people makes you one too and once you happy money is no longer an issue, it just finds its way to you..
Operators might have shit load of data flowing through their network but they need the ways to structure that so its a big investment, on the other hand, mobile aggregators are freaking obsessed about mining every bit of info they have (i know this because I was hired to squeeze that juice) so they could push you more crap. Even if you don't participate in SMS games (quizzes, tv voting, etc) there services like emergency top up (for prepaid sims) that you probably used at least once or twice. Those are usually also provided by mobile aggregators itself or through MA partners, and they do know on which channel request came, what VAS app is that, how often you do this and etc. Ideally they can cross check your phone number on all of their services and content provider services to get plenty info to know who you are and what you will buy next.
