I love the combined blob!
Ooo nice! Looks sweet
This rules. Nice work!
Love the styling and the music, great job!!!
Hey friend, just noticed your linkedin link didn't work!
This is fantastic! You've definitely got a knack for making games like this. I've been making some similar games with a similar tech stack, but with react-spring. Most recently I created clones of all the NYT Games puzzles.
Check out my github https://github.com/matttt. I also made a puzzle called https://slidecross.io
I may contribute to your project if I see something that could be improved!
looking good!
Oh wonderful. Thank you! I was looking for something like this for my project https://htwins.net/scale2 and others which use svg or canvas
Oh yes this is a tricky part.
What you want to do is find what I call a "donor letter".
Say you have:
BOAR UPTO MUTT PSSA
Where you want to swap the last SA to make PSAS.
What you'll want to do here is find a 'donor letter' of either S or A. In this case we have the A of BOAR. You'll put the BOAR's A in the place you want the A in PSAS, in this case the third slot. Then put the S that is now floating down into the last slot of PSAS.
I understand that this is probably a bit headache inducing to read, so I recorded a clip! https://youtube.com/shorts/SqGgcPXevE4
Thank you for playing by the way!
Thank you very much! I appreciate the detailed feedback. I’ll be sure to address those.
I’ve just added some new 3x3s and a 9x9, all at the top of their respective sections. Thanks for playing!
Thank you!
I’m not familiar with licenses really. I should look into that. I guess what I want is for people to be able to use it but not republish it as their own without modification.

Here’s a video of me solving a 5x5. There’s also the question mark button in the top right of the game which has some more info!
Thank you. I didn’t have the tutorial in the game before so I opted to put some tutorial text in the previous post.
Glad that you allow a couple reposts. This is a good example of that policy doing some good! My prior post didn’t get any traction so I’m glad to get some eyes on it this time around.
You can check out the source code here: https://github.com/matttt/slidecross
Good point, thank you for playing!
Thank you! I love your phrasing of “..this is impossible. I love it.” Exactly what I was going for
Good to know, thanks. I appreciate the kind words! I’ll work with Alex on those bigger puzzle clues.
This also applies to local dimming screens. Just tested it on mine and its fully dark.
I would love to try this out!
This reminded me of the fantastic dev blog of Lucas Pope, the creator of games like Papers Please and The Return of the Obra Dinn. He has an entry on dithering his 3D game and how he managed to "stick" the dithering to the 3D objects.

I had the same iPhone SE for about a year or so. I would have said all the same things as the author about it while I owned it. But, after it got damaged and I replaced it with an iPhone 13 Pro I have to say I much prefer the Pro. The only thing I miss is Touch ID but the 120hz oled screen, multiple cameras, and far better battery life more than make up for it. I don't mean to be a downer about the SE. I was just happily surprised with this new phone.
I can relate. At 18 I made the same decision to go straight to industry with bad reasons as well. One thing that worked out for me was I had a girlfriend that was in college and got to socialize with that group.
Ha had the same thought
Yes, even as a stream. The author mentions that a streaming conversion of mp4 to mp3 would be very difficult/impossible. I actually built that exact system for a simple youtube->mp3 downloader. FFMpeg can perform a streaming mp4->mp3 conversion. See here: https://github.com/matttt/youtubesampler/blob/master/main.js...

I ported the flash app Scale of the Universe to WebGL. I asked for payment as a portion of ad revenue and make about $500 a month.
Absolutely. You can email us at scaleoftheuniversedev [at] gmail.com - thanks!
I had checked it out on my phone but I just spent 20 minutes playing with it on my computer. I absolutely love it! The performance is really impressive.
This is incredible! Bravo.
