Rails for sure. I don’t see how Django would benefit you if you are already familiar with Rails.

Looks interesting, but I think for a minimal JS framework I'd probably go with AlpineJS. It's pretty much Vue without components.

Yet at the same time, a recent study [1] concludes:

The results suggested that higher egg consumption was positively associated with the risk of diabetes in Chinese adults.

However, it also states:

The association between egg consumption and diabetes is inconclusive.

These statements seem contradictory to me, but maybe someone can shed more light on this?

Some people are unable to get a vaccine for reasons other than personal choice. The CDC lays out certain conditions for each vaccine where a person should not get vaccinated. [0]

For example, someone who is pregnant or has a weakened immune system should not get the MMR vaccine. It's possible there will be certain conditions for any COVID-19 vaccine as well. These people will have to rely on herd immunity (ideally attained mostly through vaccinations) to ensure they stay healthy. If someone is eligible to get a vaccine but chooses not to, that would be putting others at risk.

Have you tried supplementing with magnesium? Seems to help a lot of people with anxiety, including myself. There also seems to be a link between low magnesium levels and heart rhythm issues.

Initially worked on a game very similar to Avalon / The Resistance but using different concepts for good and bad (Firefighters vs Arsonists). Lost interest in this eventually since playing Avalon on netgames.io with friends has been good enough despite a few minor bugs.

The list is randomly ordered right now with an ordering that changes daily. What kind of ordering would be helpful? I don't currently have enough information on each newsletter to know its popularity or number of subscribers. I may add upvoting/favoriting to help with that.

I considered infinite scroll, but pagination works better for SEO purposes and was easier to implement with the tech stack I'm using. Might re-visit this in the future.

No, unless you plan to have one team focused on the front-end and another on the API. In that case, it might make sense to make your code more modular (and explains how Conway's Law [0] comes about)

Otherwise, it's easier to support one monolith. Imagine having to change some back-end code that your front-end code relies on. This could be accomplished in one deployment with a monolith, but would require two deployments if you separate the FE and API. Not only that, but it would require you to keep them in sync or version your API.
